This happened with my sisters and cousins all the time but my mother is a psychologist and I'd hear her and her mental health band of nut job friends sitting around talking about their clients which I thought was supposed to be private. When I asked my mother about it later and how it violates privacy she said "oh, that's ok honey, they are therapists so it's ok." When she said that I'd recalled her on many occasions talking about her clients to my aunts so when she said this I thought "is aunt Lucy a therapist too?" NEVER trust a woman with a secret or ANYBODY else for that matter. They are covert narcissists for the most part and VERY sneaky and they do NOT respect boundaries.

Honestly, one of the harder things about recognizing the red flags is convincing the older generation that they're there. My older relatives are constantly hounding me about 'getting a good woman,' and then list some arbitrary list of 'good qualities' women have. When I try to explain the realities of the current dating market and the risks involved with family court, they act like I'm just fabricating nonsense.

Yeah I can understand what you mean. I've talked with my mum about various potential risks/problems that might end a marriage I might have, but none of them have been the red flags of the current dating market. As in, we've discussed issues which might impact a marriage from 60yrs ago, but not ones that happen now. And it isn't to say the modern issues would be an issue with the women I choose, because those flags would be an instant nope, but on the other hand they *are* still there even amongst women who present as conservative and traditional.

I’m the youngest of 6 boys and I can tell you that even with older brothers, they didn’t know shit about women or how to handle them. I learned more from KZread like you than my siblings. Plus my dad was no help bc my mom is the only woman he has ever been with. He never had to play the games. @@Thiiink Funny you bring up strip joints.....I gave up drinking and the one on the way home was the only place around that served near beer. I'd go in after work, hang out at the bar, shoot the shit with other guys and eventually many of the dancers would end up hanging out with me. Not one ever hit me up for a dance or money. It was enough to satisfy my "desire" for female company. If I didn't show up for a while due to getting busy, when I came back I was greeted like a long lost lover lol. So much so I brought a couple of buddies in one night and they thought I was some pimp hahha. Funny story: I did end up hooking up with this chick and for some reason it came up that she'd never been in a female strip joint. So I said "say no more, I've got just the place" and I took her. The peelers were all over her lol.....you're on a date with Mikey? OMG that's so great...he's a great guy blah blah blah.....one said "do you want a private dance"? I've found this statement alone dismantles most of these "high value men" channels. There's a weird paradox where they want to have all the women and hoes but complain when that's all they are. This is SO accurate to my last ex. She did all the same things. Addicted to alcohol, seeking attention on social media, dancing with other guys, still frequent contact with her ex, always suspicious with her phone, lying, etc. etc. I was so blind lol. She really broke my heart when I found out she had been fucking other guys. But I've learned from it and will never let this happen again. I could say my knowledge about this topic was minimum and I let her walk over my boundaries regularly, all for sex.... So not worth it. Bless you my friend. It doesn't ease the pain to absolutely know you were in the right and she was a POS, I understand that. But far too many men, these days probably the majority are in the same boat. I seriously see little future in relationships with this society for us single men. Unfortunately women are still getting by with this daily but I do see the tide is changing quickly, men are waking up and some women are starting to get called on their games. If you have so little trust that you feel you need to do that, then THAT is the issue. Looking through a phone won't fix it.

This is like a mix of my first relationship and my last relationship. The whole “dating her ex while dating me and finding out by going through her phone” is a tough one. I know what this guy went through, but at least I didn’t do all that vindictive stuff he does, I just told her I knew, she told me “I invaded her privacy”, and made it about her, and we just broke up. And the whole getting too drunk and being a chaotic and slutty mess was my latest relationship, and I was too naive, inexperienced, and docile to do anything about it. Instead I tried harder to please her and became a complete beta loser. In the end she ended up cheating on me and leaving me. Don’t buy into the bs. Don’t ignore red flags. Don’t be nice when you’re being taken advantage of. Get better at recognising which girls are broken and will overstep your bounderies, and which women are just being women but deep down respect you. Unfortunately it comes with age and experience, and sometimes you can only ever truly learn something after you go through it and live it. Having lived it, as much as both of those relationships sucked at the time, I grew and learned from them and can now say I’m handling relationships much more wisely, never giving into the bs and holding my boundaries strongly. Don’t give into the typical “women’s tactics” they throw at you. Don’t give into being nice and forgiving things that shouldn’t be forgiven. Don’t give into societal norms (especially contemporary ones) of how a man should behave. Don’t give into fear. TRUST ME. I have never met a woman who does not have any red flags. It's always either psycho on multiple prescriptions and or alcohol abuse. Typically lying and cheating are common too. It's more of a question of what is tolerable and what is intolerable and for what reason that you want to put up with her flaws.

Genius insight as always. Wish I’d found this channel years ago if there are any doubters out there take it from someone who’s older and wiser. This man speaks the truth.

This was a truly eye-opening vid. I remember her arguments when I said to show me her social media. "Boundaries! You have no respect for boundaries?" I didn't swallow that argument completely but it made me hesitate and I lost frame there (as you would call it). Needless to say my worst fears proved true shortly after that. And in time I realized what my response to her then should have been: "You don't want to show me because it's you that has crossed boundaries. And now that I know that I don't even need to see it. Goodbye and all the best."

The check yourself her phone move is absolutely mandatory in these kind of situations. I'll make sure I'll do it for future experiences. Ty Rich!

Serious question: if she’s just a plate, why do we care if she’s seeing her ex on the side? If you are spinning plates, are you in a position to demand that one of your plates be exclusive only with you?

Yeah he freaked out about the ex BEFORE they were exclusive. If he isn't exclusive then he can't expect her to be. Rich has some double standards. I agree with you. He also says if a woman has a high body count (like more than 3) to just fuck her because she is un-dateable. It just doesn't make sense to fuck as many women as possible and expect them to not have sex with more than a handful of guys.

It's not seeing her ex that's the problem, it shows attachment issues. she also has taking drugs from strangers in bathrooms, alcoholic who doesn't remember what happens.... she was simply trouble. Men spin plates so that they might end up with a good one at some point and become exclusive and your plate seeing her ex means she is still in love. She might not be, but .... it's just a very risky road. If she was seeing random people that would have been okay.

That's exactly what Rich was saying in the video. If she's a plate then he could've kept her at an arms distance. It was because of the fact that he wanted to get exclusive with her is why the ex boyfriend thing was an issue. He let her in too quickly. He basically allowed her tell him to get the ONEitis. I rushed into a relationship with my ex after dating her for 3 months and in hindsight I know now to take my time with (vetting) women.

I learned the hard way with my ex. She was verbally abusive, emotionally manipulative, and had a massive victim complex. After 1 1/2 years I finally gave her the boot, never ignore the red flags gents.

I had this with a 304 I was banging, when I asked here what she expected after having sex twice, she said see where it goes. I should have known, I kinda felt sad for her. Needless to say I dropped her after sex a few times and 3 dates. She was extremely narcistic, hook up culture lol. Never again tho, 1st and last damaged good I will have sex with actually.

This one hits home. Exact same situation I just dealt with. Although, I was just done. Zero explaining. They know what they did, no reason to tell them. I ultimately played myself. Pay attention gentleman!

Had a similar encounter, she played the comedy my family, my friends, psychologist and showed her true self again for a whole year with me!! Red flags: daddy issues, dependency, lying. Now, I have to live with this mistake. Thanks for the reminder and the lesson.

You’ve probably heard this multiple times , my first wife was a stoner and only 5,4” and the red flags were as numerous as a Chinese youth rally in Beijing. I was only 25 she was 24 . I gave her half a house for my trouble . Luckily no kids .

I hate to admit it but I was beta maybe still am, hard to admit. I had no skills or understanding about vetting a female that show'd intrest in me. Congrats on Rich for calling out that revenge behavior, no alpha should be doing that. Had the same experience, meet girl through mutual friends, great first dates, even went to church on Sunday. Started seeing red flags a few months in, verified through phone and social media. Turns out 12-3am were prime hours for her to call exbf, message guys friends, and receive random calls. No matter what shes, her behavior is the real story. Sure felt betrayed and angry but the best revenge is living well.

I agree with you here! I do not think there is any reason to have contact with an ex. Also there should never be a problem for your lover to go through your phone. Mine has my pass code. If an ex called. ( my boys are 18) I would answer and put him on speaker. That's another way to handle it as a woman. If we are completely transparent always then your partner never has a reason to doubt you.

Totally relate to that shit, had a 23yo latina chic last year, also ignored bunch of red flags from very beginning, turns out she cheated and lied to me from day 1, so much lies that I had hard time to comprehend "how" and "why" when it was over and I revealed the truths! Your last comment about circuses and clowns is gold. In my mid 20s my life was full of clowns, male and female. Got rid of all of them, righted the ship, set sail for success and never looked back. The circus disappeared and I have all the options I can handle. Drama queens and kings are ancient history and I don't have to deal with losers. Life is never easy, but you don't have to allow dorks and dingbats to complicate it. All ppl have “red flags”. A good woman, one who is down with you 100%, you can stop some of them if you do it right. Set boundaries and be firm about it. Most men give in because they don’t want to lose her. If she knows you’ll walk, she’s probably gonna change it. Some red flags are a hard pass however.

I have one regret, I wish I would have found you channel years ago, I was as dumb as a box of hair. Now I am close to retiring but If I had your info years ago my experiences would have been so much better. Having standards is very important if you stick to them because you eliminate the bad ones right away. The problem with a lot of guys though is that we don't all come up getting the girl we wanted in High School or our teenage years. So when you've never had that much attention before and then one actually pays you attention you fall into there drama and world of lies.I think it's called live and learn. You aren't that special to her... 3) this is a 'girl you 'F' NOTHING MORE ...she os not capable of being honest or loyal- SO PLAY HER! Don't ever let her play you! 4) most people confuse 'masculine looking' ripped gym rat guys as 'alpha' when almost always they are betas. The very reason they are 'ripped' is because they are mentally and emotionally weak and insecure. NEVER judge an alpha or beta based on their outward appearance. This MISTAKE happens so often it is mind frying....

I agree completely, alphas are born, not made. And as a former gym rat beta male(now a mgt000w monk), number 4 is spot on. Beta males flood the gyms in a delusion that their bodies attract women, but in my experience, my body never attracted women, it was my status as a military/uniformed man, personality, and income. Women dont give a shit about muscles, they only pretend to because they know it pleases a mans ego.

Overall, yes, I was a skinny rock star in LA and 'gym rat/jock' guys would hang out and follow me (roadies, body guards etc..) wishing they could get the 'scraps' left over....interestingly enough, the women never went for them. They even seemed disgusted by them as if they were invisible. Some women are attracted and impressed by the body builder guys but not nearly as much as the body builders think....I exercise and lift every single day but I'm 'lean' and slim with low body fat. I don't do it to get ripped or yoked. I do it to look, feel, and stay healthy.

Also thank you for your book, I think every men should read it and also read the rational male as well, that been said: gentleman redflags are serious to look for plz do your recon, sniff test but if you haven't been unplugged you will waist your time and also you will be kept in that cycle of misery.
