Bees are so cool. but you don't know how cool until you've kept bees. I really enjoy your channel.
This was beyond epic to watch!! LOVE that swarm sound!! Good job!!👍🏼 very enjoyable video! Very!!👍🏼
Loved it ! You rock ! Happy that this swarm had a new home. Well done !
Thanks ! It's always a blessing to watch you taking care of the bees. Keep up the good work ! 🤗
You are amazing . Beautiful and just no words to describe . God please bless you and your family.
It's been noticed for a long time that year after year, different swarms will often go to the same tree, sometimes the exact same branch. It's a thought to put swarm traps anywhere you've ever collected a swarm. Faster and easier to untie a bucket trap than collect a naked swarm, and you don't have to depend on someone else just happening to see a swarm in a tree and call you right when you have time to get them.....
You said “I wish you guys could smell this.” I love how a swarm smells! Little things like that I wish I could share with the rest of the world.

You make it look so easy-and fun! Thanks, Kaylee!
I grew up on a farm in the Midwest and now I'm a math teacher in Hawaii. While at school, I saw the custodians trying to deal with a swarm using water hoses and wasp spray. I intervened, asking them to wait. Instead, I used my Leatherman to carefully cut the branch the swarm was on and transported it to the nearby woods. Miraculously, I didn't get stung once.
Hi Thanks for sharing your videos/ i love it, i am new beekeeper and learning from your videos ...
i LOVE swarms, they are one of the best ways to get new comb drawn. i'll usually give my swarms 2 or 3 frames of drawn comb to start, and they'll usually fill out the other 17 frames in a month or so.
very cool! and educational. please take us along on another if you have opportunity and of course let us know how the hive does.
Good job! I had a swarm around the same time but on the 14 th move into a double deep beside my equipment trailer. It's so exciting watching them move into a hive box. . Good luck this year and I'll be watching for more.
Yep that time of the year again . Mrs. Honeystead just about living in her beekeeping outfit drag racing for the swarms 😅😅
That’s cool that you use a frame to help get the bees off of the branch. I usually just shake the branch and drop them into the nuc box or scoop them up. Great way to get them in tight spots.
I pull into my Moms Sunday, heard a swarm leaving one of my colonies. Feelings that day flew away. .
I had absolutely no idea what I was doing last night(outside of research). But we got the first one last night! Saved from being sprayed and they seem pretty chill this morning 🎉

Awesome and amazing video 📹..love ❤it ❤ 😊😊😊😊
Thanks for looking after these beautiful creatures 🐝🐝🐝🐝❤❤❤❤
Beautiful! I’m so amazed by your skills with the girls! Thank you for taking us along! I’ve always been terrified of any type of bee until I started watching your videos. Now when we’re changing the hummingbird feeders and there are bee’s around, it makes me happy and I don’t worry about them stinging me! If I was younger, I’d seriously think about becoming a beekeeper! It’s just so beautiful! ❤❤❤
Thank you for taking us along ahead of the storm….what a great sight and amazing sound too!
this Beez another great video....
There is nothing like the feeling of catching a swarm
I used the frame method to catch my last three swarms
Good morning beautiful day hello 👋🏾

About all the time any bees that do not get to go on a ride WILL go back to the mother hive .

Nice catch! I had a colony swarm on Saturday and was able to catch it for a friend who is trying to build up her apiary. Swarm season always gets the adrenaline pumping!

I know!! It's my favorite season 💛
Well done amazing job , its probably only the scouts that get left behind as they venture out looking for the new home and then come back and the family swarm has disappeared so they pack the bags like stroppy teenagers and head home for tea 😀
A beekeeper in her happy place, and they was nice and close to the ground even. Grats on your🥰New🐝Feelings.😁Blessed Days

Agreed 🙌
Seems like the bees always like to swarm before a rain storm.
I seen on the weather that storms were in Virginia yesterday and I thought of you🥰 glad you were able to get the job done

Love that mountain road
Spectacular work ! 🎉❤
I have seen as many as 9 queens in one swarm.
Hi. I am UK beekeeper and enjoy your videos so thanks for taking the time to record them. I noticed the bag that you put the nuc into. I haven’t seen anything like that over here. Is it especially for that purpose or is it something you have adapted. Thanks Phil
👍
This soo cool ..thanks for sharing
❤
Great catch! Who makes that plastic nuc that you used? Looks like his quality.
looking forward to the follow up

How long to the pheromone's stay in the tree>
What’s that net bag I could use that
Thanks for sharing, what Nuc is that?
What do you recommend for a family with 1 income to get started with beekeeping? The cheapest route as possible. But good for the bees.
Those bees that didn't make it into the colony will go back to the mother hive won't they? (You just said that in the video) I'm thinking that has to be true. Without a queen they'll go back.

Did you find that they need to be painted to be darker? Some reviews say that the boxes are letting light in? What do you think?
Where can I start with bee keeping? How do I start? Are there classes? I don’t know where to begin. I’ve been reading a lot, but not sure if I just go for it or if there are places that teach. Thanks❤
