I totally agree! As a very big Whitney fan forever, I also say that absolutely nobody can replace Nippy but there is no need to do so…these both ladies are superb too, and I am happy to have a (very) few people who come close :))

Whitney maybe gone but she is still the greatest singer in the world. No doubt Glennis can sing but I would like to see her come up with her own arrangements. Every Whitney tribute I see from her she’s mimicking a past performance that Whitney did. She doesn’t have the stage presence or charisma Whitney had. Look I like Glennis Grace, I really do. She has a strong voice that's quite moldable. I just wish she were more well known for her own voice, her own style, etc. To me, it feels like she's most widely known for Whitney Houston, specifically sounding like Whitney or being the next Whitney. While I can appreciate her tribute efforts, as a diehard Whitney fan, it bugs me a bit that her renditions sound almost exactly like specific Whitney live versions (note for note, run for run, adlib for adlib, etc.) If I wanted to hear Whitney's songs live, that sound almost exactly like Whitney would deliver them, I'd listen to Whitney's actual live tracks.

She is the greatest female singer OF ALL TIME and I was blessed to see her 8 times live in concert. I was blessed to meet and talk to her in the hallway of the Holiday Inn in Lake Placid with just Robyn Crawford and a bodyguard. My knees were weak when she came up to me and my friend Gina. She was so tall and beautiful and looked exactly like her videos. We talked to her and told her how much we loved her. I had given her roses at the NY State Fair the summer before when she was singing her opening number. Never thought I would see anyone to ever compare to her. Please give Glennis a chance and enjoy her as I do. Could I suggest you watch her many videos on you tube singing all her beautiful renditions of other songs. Example: Empire Sessions part 1 and 2 (8 songs), Radio 538 studio sessions, live concert Noordpool Orchestra, Carmen Opera and of course Ladies of Soul at the Ziggadome. She also has over 100 songs (some Whitney) on iTunes. I keep hearing she is working with producers, writers in the US to produce her own album. Stay in touch. "Peace" as Whitney would say!
