It could have happened. Glennis has been singing since 1994. Whitney died in 2012. A good management would have arranged at least a meeting between Glennis and Whitney, which could have resulted in a collaboration. I think Whitney would have been delighted with Glennis. Think about what could have been. So sad it didn't happen :-(

There are several reasons it didn't happen. My bets are that Whitney & her Management knew everything about Glennis, long B4 most of the US. Keeping her out of the picture was the intent. Houston knew she couldn't upkeep that level of performance any longer, so do I think she wanted the closest Diva to her legacy showing her up? Think Kings & "Celebrities" & you'll understand. Those people do NOT share their thrones.
