100%. There's a video (forgot who made it) about tons of white people saying we should be able to vote without ID because black people can't get them easily and all that... Then they interviewed black people, who all had IDs, all knew exactly where to get IDs, none of them knew anyone who didn't have IDs... and some of them found it downright insulting that some people thought blacks wouldn't be able to get them. Woke white people think blacks are like children and need to be protected, and treated as such. If I was black, and I knew how these people think, I'd hate woke white people as much as I hate racists.

I've seen a few such comments in this comments section already. They don't realise how harmful some of their policies are towards race relations and towards minorities themselves. As they say "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" never was that saying more true than with the woke movement. The best of intentions but have bad consequences often times. For example, scrapping voter ID laws, in Europe this is just a given. We've always had voter ID laws. It's not something we even talk about because to prevent voter fraud it's common sense that you would need to show ID. By scrapping/blocking voter ID laws you are enabling voter fraud as well as demeaning minorities by saying they are incapable of acquiring ID, which again iant helpful, because at some point in their life they will likely need it . If it's such a problem do something to help minorities acquire ID, don't just write them off as hopeless cases. Even though, I would say most don't need help to get an official ID, they are perfectly capable.

It's the same distinction being made, and the language is almost exactly the same and means the same thing, but they consider one racist and the other not. It'd be like saying "a red apple" is offensive and makes you an awful person, but "an apple that is red" shows how amazingly woke and wonderful you are.

@@LowestofheDead A lot of these statistics remind me of the female wage gap narrative. Where they lump in all women from different jobs, and don't account for hours, part time vs full time, overtime, region, performance, etc. Turns out, a lot of the difference comes from exactly which jobs women choose to have, and them working less hours on average. Some versions even include stay at home moms, which makes no sense. I see a lot of the same here. Like the black congressman representation apparently being shown as racist. But it doesn't give any sort of context, like how it measures up to the black population at large. Which, if we are looking for a proper ratio of black population to black congressman, is really not far off. I see a similar theme in the rest of this list. So I can't really take it seriously, or even do much with it if I did.

Lincoln had a plan for that very thing, and likely would have done it had he not gotten a new wind resistance hole in the back of his head. In short, even ol' Abe over there thought that they should send back folks to Africa and have the nation for whitey. Yes, because racism isn't about whether you think that there are two instrinsically different sides whose different separate identity must be underlined at every single opportunity, it's about which side yiu personally like the best.

Yea that's what baffles me. I'm Dutch, and It is often said that women and "other races" are treated very equally here. And I look at the American extreme left and can only see racists and sexists pretending to be the opposite. Don't get me wrong I see the same on the extreme right. But at least they don't pretend to be something else and generally don't get a much power in politics. They're ignored and/or called out for their racism and sexism. While the ones on the left get applauded and listened to.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's strange that "people of color" is acceptable but "colored people" is racist.

My woke Cousins have never hung out with a black person ever. I brought my black roommate to Thanksgiving once, and they where talking to him like he just got pulled out of an African tribe, and didn't understand what anything was. He got really offended, but he let it slide cause he was a guest. I had some words with them though.
