There was a time when she was insecure of her voice but like the Ceo said, her voice is the backbone of MMM. Her vocals is so healing, basked with sweetness and honey, plus I think it’s really special because it can harmonise with literally any other vocal range, suits any genre of songs and just makes you feel amazed.

Rice doesn’t go well with everything and it taste bland without anything, I’d say she is the 🍅Tomato! Suitable for pastas pizza rice with so many ways of cooking(techniques) and homey but special taste like her voice~ I’m eating now😬

People often don't notice Wheein's talents as much as they notice Solar's or Hwasa's, even calling Solar the main vocalist when all 3 of them are labelled as vocalists, there's no main or lead. Personally, I think Wheein has the best voice and techniques in MMM, she can hit both high and low notes perfectly, she can sing with a softer voice or a more powerful one, and she's super versatile. Not to mention, she's the backbone of their harmonies, along with Moonbyul.

Wheein really deserves the title 'the Ace'!

This is just one of MANY reasons why Wheein is, was, and always will be my MAMAMOO bias (although Solar has been my bias at one point lol). She is my favorite vocalist in the entirety of K-Pop, and DEFINITELY one of the best K-Pop vocalists in our generation, if not of all time. Her versatility is insane- how she can fit her voice into pretty much every genre she touches and make it sound really good is just so awesome to hear. She is also, technique-wise, the best vocalist in MMM- reliable and precise riffs and runs, extensive falsetto range (e.g. the Eb6 on Woo Hoo and the F6 on My Star... like wth???), great belting range/mixed notes, you name it! I totally understand why she chooses to only extend her contract to 2.5 more years, because she could definitely slay as a soloist, just as much as the other 3! So much potential is to be unlocked for her, and I can't wait to see what she has in store for us in her solo career and of course, with MAMAMOO's future projects! Stan talent, stan MAMAMOO!

Water Color really makes sense to me now in relation to Wheein's decision. It says: "Guess what? (What?) I know it's invisiblе Wait for me a little more Come to me and look at me more" I honestly think that Wheein being an official Soloist will just prove that she is THE ACE OF KPOP. I'm Solar biased but I agree with you. I love and support Wheein as well as all the members equally and I hope they do well although their shitty company refuses to promote them cause they wanna prove Mamamoo didn't make the company what it is today

This is why singers/vocal coaches always say that Wheein has a perfect pitch and technique. She doesn’t have to hit very high notes for me to say that Wheein is indeed a great singer. Even her low notes are perfect. Damn wheein what an Ace you are

As a singer myself... her voice really matches well with other ppl’s voices, but is really unique at the same time. She has the best riffs, belt support, her vibrato is always ON POINT. Her mix, switch between belt to head is always. ALWAYS. On point. Her mic handling is always on point. I have no idea how to explain this, but she’s literally perfect. I’ve never seen her miss a single note or miss a single riff. U know when someone’s trying to riff but fails? Yea. Never with Wheein. Perfect pitch. Which is Why.... I’m really hoping to see her on Begin Again after this whole Covid sht ends 🥲

Wheein arguably has the best vocal technique within Mamamoo and she is versatile. That enables her to both does her solo part and harmonize with others easily and with excellent results.

I find her low note mesmerizing as well. That 1st verse in Butterfly that supposed to be GSoul's part... When she sang the 1st sentence I always got goosebumps.

Every moomoos knows WHEEIN is the all rounder and basically the ace- for me it's for kpop as a whole. She really has that voice that voice that sparks the song.

When someone does something incredible without making it seem difficult, it means that person totally aces it. Wheein Ace

She's honestly one of the all times best vocalist in the kpop industry. Her technique is always on point. She's a really talented singer. Her voice is a healing and a hyping voice. Put it with any music with any other song, it will perfectly fit. Backbone of mamamoo, and the best ever harmonizer.

Wheein voice sounds both like wind and crystal to me... Idk it's just own feeling about her really special voice. Most of the time she sounds like a breeze with her falsetto technique - like really soft & soothing voice - the type of sounds that you feel healed hearing them. But when she uses her full capability, her voice turns to crystal - strong, clear & shining - the type of sounds that pierce into you heart/soul... I don't know if anyone else feel like this or just only me :D

This is exactly one of the biggest reasons Wheein stays as my ult for years now (she has been ever since i discovered Mamamoo in 2015). She is unrivalled for *my* favorite voices and vocals in kpop, her technique, vocal color, emotions and style is just **chefs kiss* in my book. She is truly deserving to be called of the title *ACE* she is just sooo multitalented and she is really GOOD at them too.

Lol same. Mine is much bit later (2019), MMM is the first KPop group (and the only one uptill now) I ever stan, and Wheeinie has been staying my ult bias ever since I started to focus on each member individually, unshakable so. How could she make me Wheewhip that much is beyond my understanding

Now that wheein is out of rbw i hope she can collaborate with a lot of artists and do all the type of music she wants to do. I am really excited for what comes next

If there's heaven, I'm pretty sure it would sound like Wheein's voice.

Her voice is honey 🍯❤️🥺 But watching the shows reminds me how so many groups, “who are good at singing or not”, are tuned to note perfect. And when we watch live singing, because our ears are tuned to hearing perfection, some might start believe members aren’t good at singing. This is sad 😞

Hwasas voice is smokey and solar voice is thick and rich. Wheeins crystal and refreshing voice really is like a nice contrast that plays with everyone's voice. This group synwrgizes so well

Now I really get why they say Wheein is the backbone. She's usually the one singing the melody while Solar does the higher notes and Hwasa and sometimes Moonbyul does the lower ones. This is just what I've observed.
