When Trash Talk Goes Right in Boxing: Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley 2

Спорт

Jake Paul's trash talk towards Tyron Woodley and his fighting abilities in the build up to their boxing rematch as well as the fight's highlights.
Tyron Woodley is a former UFC welterweight champion who fought against some of the most elite fighters before going on a 4 loss streak and departing from the UFC, whereas Jake Paul is a youtube boxer who has recently been targeting boxing matches with well known MMA fighters such as Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz. Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul is likely the next fight after Jake defeated Tyron Woodley.

Damn I didn’t realize this when I watched live. People saying it was rigged and “any fighter could’ve blocked that”. He sent the same combo in round 2 and hit flush but didn’t knock him. Tyron was tired, foggy head. Blocked with wrong hand and got clocked. Well played JP

Any fighter could block anything provided they know and are prepared to block that punch, that argument is so dumb, most of knockouts happen to punches that fighters can block and have blocked but couldn't and got knocked out and also, you can't fake brain injury, Tyron got hit by a good, strong punch that he wasn't prepared for, you don't see on proven rigged fights, people taking the fall with those punches, they are usually body shots or some shit so it doesn't hurt the fighter too much, if Tyron agreed to rig the fight by letting jake Paul konckout im for real, that's just too dumb

The fight didn't look as boring in the highlights somehow thankfully so thanks to you for highlighting it perfect lol. It's apparent that Jake was setting the body shot for the Knockout the whole time in this video too. In the end Jake feinted a body shot while Tyron expected another body shot he dropped his left hand to parry it while Jake level changed and landed a vicious hook. It was a beautiful Knockout. It was also good to see that Jake showed he's a real fighter that he can fight through such a big cut and still has the one punch Knockout power tho to be called a real boxer he'd need to fight one.

Coz this is exactly how Caleb Plant lost. Every time he dipped to the right, and eventually Canelo read it and KOed Plant. Similarly, Woodley kept anticipating a body shot so his first move was to drop his hands, and that cost him

people would say literally anything to justify hating this guy. It´s sad, rlly sad. Now the main excuse is that he´s on roids. Highly doubt that´s true since he doesn´t look like someone that´s on juice. You seen Vitor Belfort in his fight against Holyfield? THAT´s someone on steroid. Jake looks buff but not even incredibly cut. People keep forgetting that both Paul brothers were into fitness / various sports and body building their whole life, naturally they´re big guys. Comparing fights, Jake was sharp with the jab and more active in the first fight. You could tell his mindset was I’ll just eventually land a hook/check hook and put Woodley out. But it didn’t happen. He gassed and won a close decision. But his boxing skills were more apparent. The second go around he traded his jab for the straight to the body. Not necessarily a smart idea but he’s green and wanted to make sure he landed those body shots because they were integral for his gameplan. He boxed more sloppily but he stayed dedicated to the plan and it paid off beautifully. I think this analysis explains why Jake looked more sloppy in the second fight. He was essentially saying I MUST land these straights to the body so he put the jab on the back burner.

That definitely wasn’t his game plan in the first fight. He didn’t trade his jab for the straight to the body either. He threw like a couple straights to the body the entire second fight and like a dozen jabs per round. Also he setup the overhand with jabs to the body.

It seems Masvidal mostly wins with strikes and he's not as good as Jake Paul at striking. UFC fighters have no defense, no head movement. They get hit in the face repeatedly and no so often it takes awhile to get knocked out or they survive til decision. Whereas Jake Paul is knocking dudes out with boxing gloves. Without that massive overhand right Jake would not be doing what he’s doing, and we wouldn’t even know he had all that power had he fought skilled boxers from the start, any decent boxer in his weight class with some power would expose all of Jake’s flaws and put him down in the first 4 rounds, that’s reality

@@twotwon4201 serious? Nate is washed up and getting slow. Leon Edwards destroyed him for 24 minutes. Jake Paul def knocks him out. Jorge isn't nearly as good as his ego makes him out to be. Only reason he is ranked is because he got a lucky highlight reel knockout of askren and gained a large fanboy newb gathering. Otherwise he is a nobody. He doesn't even deserve to be in the top 10. Again, either knockout or one sided unanimous decision for Jake. Conor again, is all hype. Against a 190-200 lb opponent, he would have ZERO knockout chance...
