@@AlfysYT спасибо за комментарии, поэтому мне не нужно слово 'теперь'? Если я забываю, могу ли я только использовать слово 'сейчас'? Спасибо!
These words are really very close in meaning. But if we delve deeper into the etymology of the words “сейчас” and “теперь,” the difference becomes more clear. The word “сейчас” literally means “at this hour” and refers to time. And the word “теперь” in ancient Russian meant “first of all” and referred to a sequence of actions.

I think the best way of translating "теперь" is "nowadays" or "these days."

Ok so the best way I can put it for English speakers is: Сейчас - now, in the moment Теперь - but now (something has changed, the condition isn't the same as before)
didn't know that, thanks a lot for the clear and concise explanation. ciao
such good explanation!! спасибо

Well done! Very helpful.
Long-time Russian student here... so nice to see these videos with common mistakes. Normally I'd have to return to Russia to learn these things. But now I can learn it on my computer!! Keep the videos coming!! :) ... Might I suggest some more advanced videos where you speak mostly in Russian and then explain certain idioms or grammatical points? It would really be useful for more advanced learners (and probably less effort for you!). Anyway, thanks for all of this!! :)
Very helpful 👌

At this very moment : сейчас X was the state of things / X was happening, but there has been a change, such that Y is the new state of things / Y is happening : теперь

Привет!!! Спасибо за видео! А какая разница между здесь и тут? Есть тоже видео?
@alexvap3280
4 жыл бұрын
У слова "тут" есть 2 значения. 1. Тут = здесь; 2. "тут" - что-то похожее на "в этот момент". Например, "и тут Остапа понесло..." (цитата из "12 стульев").
Уважаю, Фёдор! Сам не в России, постигаю русский повторно, что бы объяснить тем, кому приходится впервые :)
SPASEBA FROM ALGERIA🇩🇿
I understand the difference perfectly ! In Croatian we say "UPRAVO SAD or TRENUTNO" for СЕЙЧАС and "SAD" for ТЕПЕРЬ
Do you what would be really really awesome? If you started explaining through songs lyrics, because then we'd have both language skills and an already settled material of language in use for practices
Sounds like “I used to ..., nowadays I ...” combination.
Теперь я понимаю.
Thanks a million! As always, thanks a million for your great lectures. Also, the link doesn't work. Could you please see where that problem is?

The most difficult sound for English speakers is the “r” with soft sign (рь). Самый трудный звук для Англоязычных-рь.
@vladoshka9014
4 жыл бұрын
I guess "ы" and "щ" are also quite hard
@GopnikVlad
4 жыл бұрын
vladkras ‘ы’ has no real English equivalent. ‘Щ’ is easily taught by combining “wash chain” or other word pairs with “-ch sh-“.
@vladoshka9014
4 жыл бұрын
@@GopnikVlad well, "рь" is more difficult than "ы"?
@GopnikVlad
4 жыл бұрын
vladkras I think so, because has no rolled “r” nor soft “r”. “рь” combines both into one sound, similar to the Japanese “ryo”. “Ы” on the other hand is similar to long “e” and short “I” in English with almost a “w” in front. So even though there is no equivalent, English speakers can get very close by “Vweeih” for “Вы”.

Teper is the transitional form of NOW.
