From what I’ve noticed over time is that it’s the Tegu usually handling you. Always wanting out to explore or just scale your face like a steep mountain wall with hopes of setting up a camp top of your head. They can be a lot of fun.

I wanted to get one so badly this season, but with a move and a number of other impediments, I may be forced to wait until next season. I cannot wait to get an albino blue from you, that is the plan for whenever it becomes feasible. I should probably get a female (since Pubba is a male), but a male would be stunning. Idk if Pubba could tolerate another male tegu receiving my affection though 😬

Hi friend, im from Spain. Absolutly love your videos, especially the one you advise to handle the tegus since the moment they arrive. My baby tegu Nico finally started eating, actually eat a lot. But he only wants live insects :( He's badly used to it, he comes from an Argentine farm... Do you have any advice on how to make him eat everything like yours? Ive tried everything but he can wait a week without eating, just for his dubias lol

  • @RoseCityReptilesTX

First make sure your temperatures are correct, especially the basking temperature. Try stunning or killing the insect and put in the meat mix you want to feed. Slowly start taking them out of the meat mix and he should eat it.

@@RoseCityReptilesTX thank you for the answer, muy basking temps is between 115-125 degrees. I'll try it, thank you so much :) Does your babys start eating grounded quails or other meat as soon as you offer? Or they take some time?

So obviously this is an older video but I've recently found myself with a beautiful baby golden tegu I was wondering, when I come in the room he goes to his hide and then will dig himself in. Should I still get him out or let him be? He's only about 10-12 inches. Lil different then the snakes im used too!

Incaseyoudidntknow kiku's will usually look better and be smarter and stronger not because that's just their species and that all species are different it's a totally different reason than that 1 tegus are always burrowing that takes muscle 💪 work to burrow in the dirt like that 2 hybrids will always look better anyway I don't know exactly why or what but I guess they get biological benefits and looks from two different sides or more. The Best of both worlds biologically from birth 3 if you haven't noticed yet if you look at the scale pattern on a hybrid breed of tea goose not purebred or unmixed color. You will notice that the scales on their heads or slightly smaller than a bridge tegu scales on their heads. And their arms half slightly larger scales than the small scales on a tegus front legs Ask for me Charles Darwin's evolution 🧬 vs. Alien 👽 races. by the way this alien race has a primate I promise you not reptile not invertebrate not even mammals that have a split top lip but primate 8p. Our late descendants in the future will look like aliens their hair will look awful before it falls out there will be a body part in them that becomes dysfunctional that prevents them from growing hair. Abel have a big head big eyes and a small mouth. What am I saying whoever said they have to evolution could go in many different directions they could just look like people that are too beautiful healthy and good looking beyond our imagination we don't even know what they will be capable of or what they will know how they will look or what the world will become next And one more thing it's not the thing never evolved with us they went extinct or they became people or they turned into pigs 🐖. We came from apes so we're meant to turn into pigs after people and I'm telling you that it is copies there is a chemical deep in the ocean in the warm seedbeds called RNA. It is a biological acid responsible for building up tissues and cells on top of each other & making more of them this thing is responsible for creating and making life 🧬. And apes came from a sealion that does not have a split in their top lip. & some of those things we think are whiskers or just primate facial hair
