👍🤚Aww Breathtaking captures. ❤️ love all the different varieties of ages all come together peacefully. This was beautiful watching 🦅perched and bathing it does not get any more peaceful and touches the heart. I kinda like the fog or dew while the adult is bathing. Looks haunting or very majestic. Then the other adult we have a side view WOW look at the tail feathers fan out in the water as it baths neat. Of course absolutely Grand Finale Superhero pose as the 🦅basks in the morning sunlight with 1 foot outstretched shows it is in a comfort zone. AWESOME pose. Osprey Momma I just watched this with my pionus parrot (who would be after dinner mini-snack to a bald eagle lol), and I got a kick out of the reclining pose at the end. My parrot always has his little foot curled up into a fist, close to his belly when he is perching like that, but of course a bald eagele doing that would likely slice and gut themselves with those beastly claws if it dared draw his foot in like that rofl. Instead, it looks like quite the "diva" pose with the eagle and less "reclining." ;)

Osprey Momma It’s just funny because I never even put a second thought to the fact that the reclining position would be so different on a big bird such is a huge eagle, not even thinking about the logistics of it until I saw it right in front of my face here ha ha. ;) Cheers from California!

The Oceans' inhabitants are being destroyed through Pollution & Too much fishing & consumption by human beings. Please Honor & Admire & Help to Preserve Them. When you are fishing & they are annoying you, Please stop to Contemplate & Pray & Commune with them. If you are kind & have sincere Spiritual intentions, They will respond. Appreciate Their Beauty & be Thankful that they were not driven to extinction. 🦅

What excellent photography and subjects! The eagles were splendid, and so beautiful to watch in their freedom. Thank you for no music, no spoken commentary, just golden silence for majestic eagles. The heat is what kills them, not the cold. They are cooling off and getting rid of lice in feathers. the last scene was majestic!

Drying Bald Eagle at the end of the video on the pole just lounging like a beachgoer in a chair with their legs sticking out while sitting leisurely on their bottom. 🤣❤️ Awesome video!

Back in the '70's I used to camp at a lake in northern lower peninsula of Michigan. There was a nesting pair of bald eagles that I'd see every morning. They were absolutely beautiful.

If people could only learn from the animals. Here's a perfect example of how to get along.

Great video. No music or stupid robotic voice. Just the sound of nature.

Clean feathers are "happy" feathers. Important for maintaining flight surfaces and proper insulation. And it just feels soooo good.❤

As bad as the bugs are up there in the late Spring and through the Summer having that bath has got to feel like a little bit of Heaven. Thanks, Dr. Sasse, great photography.

This is amazing to see! I love watching birds having baths ,ducks, sparrows taking sand baths , blackbirds & starlings in the water bath. But so many Eagles! 🙌 🦅💖💥 Awesome indeed! 😁💖 Been enjoying watching Eagles & Ospreys hatch & fledge this year on Utube.👍🏻 I wonder if there are more of these Bald Eagles in Canada than in the USA as so many here at once!? Perhaps the conditions are better there? I know birds know no borders , but I understand they were down to low numbers in America & they had to make sure breeding programmes were done to protect this precious National Bird of USA. Just curious , as I don't live in either Countries. It's such a pity that so many precious birds of prey are targeted by farmers & fishermen as they see them as a threat, which is the last thing they are. I saw a Red Kite hunting twice last week! 🙂 They are massive, it swooped past my car before diving a field, I was very happy, as only 1800 known breeding pairs in UK , here in Scotland we lucky to have Sea Eagles & Ospreys to watch too. It's terrible our UK Government have put many birds on a list to be targeted ; it started with the Ravens & rest of Corvid family, now over 60 species of birds on this kill list, even the tiny Robin hasn't escaped, it's madness! 😥 I urge anyone in the UK to sign the petition on Change against the culling of UK birds 🙏💖 🐱♏☮🦅

if they are in vancouver in this number it is usually a sign of the remigrating from canada and alaska back into the lower 48 for fall and winter. My excitement peaks, as about 1/3 of the world's bald eagle population winters along the two main rivers near me.

the highest population of Bald Eagles in the world is in the Vancouver area. I travel there for business from California and they are literally everywhere in Vancouver/BC.

Brakendale is north of Vancouver BC on the Sea-to-Sky Highway heading towards Whistler. Lots of eagles conjugate in the area but especially in Brakendale.
