When things go wrong on the Gibb River Road + epic free camps & we explore Adcocks & Galvans Gorges

How bad does it get when things go wrong on the Gibb River Road? In this episode we deal with a camper trailer which flips!
We check out the hike to Adcocks Gorge, and an epic camp at the top of Adcocks Gorge (further along the Gibb road from the turnoff). We have some fun cooling off at the waterfall at Galvans Gorge and find a beautiful free camp on the edge of the Hann River crossing.

Yes ideally, it'd be better if you take a bucket of water and use soap away from the main river ! 👍

Worth explaining that stock (and likely native animals) will not drink out of water contaminated with soap and detergents. I think you can get some soap which is "okay" but best to not risk it.

Agree with no soap in the river lease guys, came here specifically to say it and found others had too. Life in the river is compromised. As already mentioned take out buckets for your use and leave the river alone please.

Just found your Channel and liked your video and the content. Just a suggestion to not use soap in the creeks and waterholes to wash yourselves. It is detrimental to the water quality and all those who need to use it. suggest you collect water in a bucket and wash away from the creek. Otherwise I liked your video.

Hiya! Yep that’s fair. We will totally take that on the chin. We normally pride ourselves on being environmentally conscious but this was one moment after a hard day where we should’ve prioritised it & we didn’t. We’ll totally wear that criticism & take it onboard to do better in the future. We are FAR from perfect. This is a channel about portraying our REAL lives not perfection or pretending to do the right thing but will strive to do better in this regard. Thx for yr feedback Mark, Suzette, Captain Frank & Simon (was it?). We appreciate your support!

Nooooo ... please dont use soap in out waterholes and creeks ... jump in, get wet, grab a bucket of water, walk well away from the creek and soap up, rinse off with the bucket then you can go back swimming. that water is used by people and animals to drink ... soap stuffs it up !!

👏👏👏 well done guys excellent video. Check out these kiwis exploring the third island 😂 just a little joke between me and them. Firstly welcome to country and appreciate your time and effort to document your travels with children. When you travel this great country remember to be respectful and patient like these kiwis who gave up there time to help others, not saying others don’t help, they do. A few words like are you ok can make all the difference to those in need picking them up after a bad experience of a break down. You don’t need to be a mechanic to help. You may be able to give an idea or help out with what ever you have. To your children 👏👏 well done enjoying your holidays and each other’s company and to the young girl who explained about the indigenous art thank you. Sending you all good spirits to guide you on your journey and keep you all safe on your holidays. Wishing you all a great Christmas and wonderful New Year.

We arent even on a road there! We are going less than 15km up a tiny unmarked bush track getting in and out clearing debris and checking the track. Trust me - our seatbelt alarm goes on and on and drives us nuts! Quite often I get out to get the drone up and jump back in, we start taking off and the blimmin thing goes off everytime! And then I'm trying to click it on with my hands full of the drone remote. Its a bit of a standing joke because I do it so often!
