Good viewing Dude, however I am so glad I did it over 30 years ago, spent 3 weeks on the Gibb River Road and only met a dozen travellers. Did all the Gorges including a couple that were not on the map. Only had to pay a $5.00/night at El Questra. The rest were free. Safe travels.

Another 1 bites the dust! Day 3, done & dusted! We also watched your coffee machine in horror & glad it survived. Imagine, no morning coffees😢 The day wouldn't be the same. 😮 Sounds like nothing's changed with the opposite drivers. We actually passed a rolled camper on route to Drysdale when we went yrs ago & our mates travelling with us had to utilise the tyre bloke......😢his brand new Coopers didn't cut the mustard... Go the Maxxis Bighorns at the time!😉😂 Enjoy your well-earned 🍻 ❤

Tj would hate not having a morning coffee 🤣🤣 Oh wow! Yea, it's not great to see that we still have these people driving The Gibb that don't have any consideration for the driver on the other side of the road 😔 Lucky for the tyre man 😉
Hi, Thankyou for giving up your time to edit of an evening, it is appreciated. Hey we would be cooking outside on a wood stove, no way would we ever pay that much for gas lol. Stage travels🤗

No worries at all 😍 Hahahaha, we felt the same but we also debated that our fridge wouldn't work either... so we felt we had no choice 🤣😁 unfortunately lol
Nothing wrong with leaf springs, did the GRR in 83 with leaves, and again in 18 and 21. Complexity brings failure points. One suggestion, get a set of tyre pressure monitors for the van, can save you $$$.

Love the content guys! Was on the Gibb last year but the irony was it wasn’t the tour buses that concerned me, it was the road trains and…. You’ll hate to hear this but other caravan users! I was shocked at some of the speeds they were thrashing out. It was in the peak of the pandemic when the whole world seemed to have bought a van mind 😩 So it’s good to see you guys promoting care on our roads. I’d be interested to hear if you’ve see loads of toilet paper around? I was devastated to see how much trash the masses had left in some of the most spectacular scenery on the planet. Im hoping it has started to recover now that the boarders are open and the “entitled masses” can get back to their hotels! Safe travel guys, look forward to your content each day 😍

Hahaha we haven't encountered any road trains yet 😅 Haven't seen much toilet paper around either! 🤷♀️ Yea that's not great is it! Horrible to think people don't mind leaving a mess behind 😫 Thankyou for watching 😍

A Shovel and more importantly, Matches or lighter, and burn off the toilet paper people.
Really enjoying this batch of videos. Well done Leah for your effort every day for us subscribers. Hubby and I will do the Gibb when they seal it all the way 😂, in our dreams lol. Our only problem and not sure if it’s just us, is the your voices sound when you are in the Nissan, it’s quite low and we struggle to hear it. It’s good when you are outside no problem there. Oh and that Coffee machine was a worry when sliding around on the sink. Hope it still works ok. We have one the same just a different name on it, such a great machine, we may even take it with us on our next trip, so long as it doesn’t put us over weight. 😊

Thankyou for letting me know 😄 I'll keep an eye on that when I edit, I think it may be a combination of the corrugations and sometimes Freddie is asleep so we try to be quiet 🤣🤣 I'll be more aware of that 😄 Always worth bringing the coffee machine with you, very glad it stayed on the kitchen bench though 😅😅

Great ep. That’s an expensive gas refill. I think we paid about $2.08 for diesel there, but that was in August of 2016.

We travelled the Gibb in1997. Camped whole way with stock ford courier and probably way over loaded. It survived. But we constantly came across a couple of pomy back packers in a little Nissan sedan painted in mad cow trim, did all the creeks and corrugations and on to Kununurra.

When the tourists bus comes through at speed put both hands against the windscreen that should stop it from flexing and maybe it won’t break

Why not just leave the caravan at Kununurra and enjoy all the places GRR has to offer without the hassle of having to worry about van damages, dust ingress, skipping places, etc.

Oh you definately could, but we bought our caravan to take it around the whole of Australia and we haven't had anywhere stop us yet, so yes, the dust and damages isn't the best but we loved that we took a challenge and went across the Gibb in our caravan! 😊
