There's a knock on your cottage door and it's the woodland creatures: "May we have some more clover pudding, please...?" Only a kind, gentle soul would take this path to dispose of the clover pudding. On behalf of the furry woodland creatures: thank you.

I live on the Unceded Territory of the Gitksan Nation in the PNW area of 🇨🇦. The Gitksan people have been living in harmony with the land here for over 10 000 years. They say that where frogs exist is a good sign of healthy soil. It is said that frogs will not live where the soil is toxic. So your little frog who lives by your pond is a sign of healthy soil and water quality. I thought you might find this interesting. Have a great day Niamh and thanks for sharing another awesome video.

Your postings give me so much pleasure. However there are some strange people on utube and I have been harassed by a couple. Not on your tube but I am nearly 80 and get so much joy. In the meantime. unless I can’t help myself I will just leave a positive tick. Since my husband died 12 months ago , postings like yours have been such a pleasure. It is 12 months now or more and after 58 years of marriage I just want to thank you. But in the lonely nights I might still be tempted to leave a message. Thank you with all my heart.you are a real treasure. 🥰

In the hills of the town I live in, the Banjo Frog burrows into loamy soils and emerges to feed and breed after rains. We live in the driest state, so these little animals have evolved and adapted to the arid conditions.

Hi friend! After the video, I called out to my mom, "My friend tried to make clover pudding....it was inedible!" and she went "Clover? WHY?" and I said " 'cause she wanted to try it!" We had a bit of a chuckle. One of my most memorable recipe fails was when I first made frosting from scratch without any help. I didn't know there were two kinds of sugar, so I just used the sugar I knew of (granulated). What a surprise I got, when I bit into my newly frosted muffin and the frosting was----crunchy!!! I still laugh thinking about it.

Another happy Sunday for me when I see that you two have produced another gem of a video. I miss the unpredictability of the weather in Ireland, although perhaps if I lived with it constantly I might have a different opinion 😉 You remind me of a cousin in Ireland, her dad’s nickname was “big John the farmer” and we would play fun, imaginative games in the clover field by their cottage while the grown ups would sip on tea, nibble on biscuits and chat inside.

Besides that due to health problems I have to be very mindful of how I spend my energy. Now I quit my job I picked it up again and finished a chapter and got a 9/10 for it which is really good. Selfheal grows on my lawn too. I may try to make Tea. Also have Dandelion. My other half just sees them as weeds and wants a golf club type of lawn but I don't mind them as much. Tks for all the info.

Your best video to date, IMO. We do need constant reminding that life is still good even if things aren't going our way and to be kind to yourself when that happens. Thank you and I'm wishing you and all, a sparkling week ♡♡♡

Our yard is covered in clover and it is evidently a buffet for the ground hog family that has seemingly adopted us. They come, almost like clockwork, 3x per day to nibble on the clover.

Thank you for telling me about Selfheal; always thought this plants was a weed but as always; this depends on your perspective. Looked it up and it is supposed to be extremely high in lots of beneficial properties, even antitumurous!

I have been using self heal (prunella vulgaris) for almost 10 years. I had drug resistant pneumonia for 6 months and felt I was out of hip when I found a an article online, ordered some of the dried herb, two weeks later i was no longer coughing! My entire family uses self heal everyday, and I make first aid salves, lip balms, and diaper rash creams with self heal as well.

Yes! All the healing is in the beauty of them too. Dr Glasser is great. I’ve done formal study for the last 3 years of hiss work. Truly life changing to say the least.

I had the Cicely Mary Barker flower fairy books when I was a child. Whenever I see self heal I hear the self heal fairy poem in my head. For some reason that particular one stays after 50 years.
