    Tosh Townsend's nosegrind on that rail was sooo classic. You got down pretty nice too but it's just one of those tricks branded into my memory.

    When my dad was growing up in the late 60’s/early 70’s, he got to witness a pool session where the skaters would charge shit just for a photo then absolutely get wrecked right after

    First thing that comes to mind is Penny had a cover front blunting the Dwyer ledge back in the day. I never saw the footage of it. Now I'm wondering if he ever landed it. That cover was legendary.

    @@starlitshadows I had to Google what ledge you’re referring too and you’re right, I never saw a footage of that either. I did come across a Transworld(I think) article that confirmed he never actually landed nor bothered to go back to land it. He just does whatever he feels like doing

    @@c1dtl39 oh damn, yeah I always hoped he landed it but suspected something like that occurred. Even trying a front blunt on that is nuts. He'd have to pop out or slide the whole ledge, which isn't short. That was the first skate magazine I ever bought.

    Pro skaters put out photos of them doing tricks but never landing the trick all the time . I have seen many pros do that over the years.. I don't think it's a big deal if it's at least been truly attempted by said skater cause they had the balls to attempt the trick in the first place..
