Chop Suey but it's significantly more difficult to play. This is what System Of A Down sounds like on only 1 string.

I'm Pete, I play guitar! Having fun with metal guitar musician doing everything from modern metal, extended range 7 strings and 8 strings (sometimes only 1 string!) to thrash metal on a good old 6 string. Riffs in the styles of other bands, shredding and lots of fun with metal music!

That was impressive! Super fun exercise, lots of SOAD songs are in drop and heavily rely on drop power chords and minor scales, toxicity would probably also sound incredible!

This perfectly illustrates the beauty of some of this songs melodies!
Loved it! Did more with one string then MGK does with 6 haha 😄

@@peteplaysmusic A lot of SOAD songs could work since some of them just use a lot of chromatics (Sugar, Suite-Pee, Psycho, etc.) but I still fuckng loved this, keep it up man
What madness possessed you to even think about attempting this? You absolutely knocked it out of the park. Nailed it. How the hell do you top this?

Just the fact of Moving the strings and restring the guitar fort à 2minutes video deserves a like. I avoid restring the guitar as much as i can cause it's so boring!!!!!

As SOAD tunes to Drop C, this is actually tuned to G as it would be the 5th string in Drop C tuning. I was expecting to tune to C but G worked way better. Thanks for watching! :)
Well its more doomy version, sounds like had be played by candlemass or something but it's regonizable so for one string effort is a hell of a good work.
