When Russian Oligarchs’ Superyachts Flee Sanctions, Here's How Experts Track Them | WSJ

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, some superyachts linked to Russian oligarchs left ports in countries where they face sanctions.
Here’s how authorities and internet sleuths are using mapping software, satellite images and eyewitness accounts to track them down.

Taking boats away from oligarchs, who give Putin his power and influence, is not wrong when compared to the war in Ukraine. This yachts allow them to move freely and negotiate with others to continue fighting the war. By putting a sanction on the ships, it curtails their diplomatic abilities and forces them to go back to Putin for a solution. Or maybe they just watch @eSysmanSuperYachts He's been reporting the whereabouts on these yachts, as well as their statistics, owners (and more) for more than a year, but most especially during the last year. This video is really old news if you've been watching his channel. Maybe the CIA and WSJ need to pay him for the most current intel?😂
