Unrelated but really wanted to ask you. Do you know of a small crash course for UX research or something of the sort that would let me know if I would really enjoy the reality of the job? It is such a big decision to go head first into and I'd really love to see more of the statistical analysis and mathematics to see if I could hang and also enjoy!

Hope you found something you were looking for, but I've actually been teaching a live cohort for the past 3 years (since I paused on youtube!!) zerotoux.com/masterclass! I'm also coming up with a self-paced version to be released in 2024 soon!! And definitely noted on the stats stuff!
So I should have tried to transition into UX research after I graduated with my Sociology and Anthropology degree. As I look at all these positions at the tech FANG companies and they all want you to have 4 years of experience with research. Even though I got a bachelor's our last year we do a capstone. I basically did a academic paper that outlined everything I did in my internship. How would you try to get experience so the FANG companies respect you?
