I love the mini version. I have the mini *gtdupe* in mulberry green and it is a great bag. It has enough room for all your little things when you are on vacation.

Definitely rich people problems but I don't see this lawsuit going anywhere Companies generally have the right to establish criteria for who they serve or sell their products to, whether it's based on past purchases, qualifications, or other factors.

Not everyone can buy a Birkin, not everyone can buy a Ferrari. Some things are just invitation only. People are just stupid for wanting to be included in exclusivity.

Brands that destroy clothes and accessories to keep prices high are horrendously immoral and unethical. Brands who under produce and overcharge for their products are also unethical, "exclusive" or otherwise. None of this 💩 would be exclusive or high priced if brands didn't manipulate their customers.

Hermes is out of touch with reality. This is the rich catering to the rich. Greed knows no bounds.

This practice is common car companies like Porsche and Ferrari. In order to get the best Porsche's, you need to buy at least a half dozen other cars you don't want from them that year. Only if you've bought the most cars from that dealer that year over anyone else, can you be considered for the best cars. It's kind of disgusting. Defiantly a first world problem, but an abuse of capitalism none the less.

It’s absolutely true. They call it The Hermes Journey. It’s very common for people to drop over $100K in stuff they don’t really want before being offered a Birkin. Hermes can keep its overpriced bags.

But the difference with Rolex is they sell to authorized dealers and they don’t control their own stores. Just recently they bought Bucherer, so they will for sure be watching the outcome of the Hermes case.

Bags from Walmart don’t go up in value. The birkins do. I have a Chanel bought at $3k it’s now at $6k (used market). The selling price for a new one is 10k. I’ve doubled my money and used a designer handbag for 3 years.

Personally I find this all ridiculous. It's a purse. I find nothing special regarding "designer" crap. It's a waist of money. Spend your money on a home, family, transportation and food or a nice trip. This is not an investment. Property, stocks, bonds crypto and businesses is what you should invest money into. Not stupid designer clothes and purses. The only time you get money back is if it was never used and stays packaged and that is only if someone is willing to pay you for it. It was the actress/singer Jane Birkin who, after casually meeting one of the brand managers in the 60s or 70s talked about what woyld be the ideal bag and they started producing it in the 80s as the Birkin bag.

Those bags are ugly.

That Is sad When a fake gets introduced to the market, that is better than the original . Everybody talks about the low quality fakes because very few people have seen high-quality fakes .
