I do think Megumi will come back in some form, only because theyre building up this whole thing of "if i break him so bad i can take over his soul" and the whole implication that his soul is still alive, as well as yujis potential soul transferring abilities, but im definitely feeling that the trio will never come back, things are way too far gone, and by the end of the story there really is no guarantee on anyones life. @@derbyblade9572

The thing is, she was hit by mahitos technique which directly affects the soul so she can’t be saved by rct. And if it was just a flesh wound; she wouldn’t have collapsed backwards with her eyes open. Its not even as though she lost consciousness, we see her on the ground with the other eye open.

Theres a theory about the reverse of nobara's innate technique (like with antigravity) and that it could be the exception and heal the soul directly after all resonance is just to apply cursed energy directly to the soul and her technique was stated as a direct counter to mahito's and i can see her having an epifany and late recovery like gojo did and then having a training absent time to learn how to heal others to bring todo's technique back and maybe even help megumi's "broken soul" And would be extra cool if megumi knew and in a crucial moment (like current cliffhanger) sukuna tells yuji to take him off his game like capitan america did with his past self in endgame

Can't wait to see yuji use his domain expansion soul swap/something like that to beat sukuna's soul outta megumi and nobara joins the fight with her CT to render sukuna useless

Here's my theory: Everyone(including kasHIMo) are gonna lose to Sukuna, but what will happen is that Yuji will stand up to fight Sukuna and then try to talk Megumi out of Sukuna, so that he can take control of his body again. In this confrontation, it would make sense for Nobara to come back so that she and Yuji can together bring back Megumi, if only temporarily.

I definitely hope she returns. I feel like her death wasn’t needed to push yugi further or bring the readers in closer. She wasn’t as developed as much as needed too. Imo she’s a valuable character and I think had a good ceiling for development with abilities and strength.

Gege saying that only 1 main character will be alive is a bluff. Remember this! Gojo, megumi, nobara and itadori will fight sukuna / kenjaku as a team. Thats how they will defeat the enemy. Backing up this theory: gojo means satori which means Sudden enlightenment. He will act more as a sensei than fighting for pleasure. Nobara was not shown on the dead realm and we know that they can still heal her after that incident. Megumi might comeback because we all know that his complete Domain expansion is not yet shown and it most likely will be a big part for the last fight. For itadori, I hole he will get a powerup and a good domain expansion.

people are going to be devastated when they find out what happens to gojo, nanami, megumi and nobara... the poor anime watchers will not do well...

I only think she is alive, because her CT is very helpful against someone who has split his soul in twenty trinkets. With one of them particularly missing. Her ability to damage the soul by using a piece of it to resonate feels too OP to not be used against sukuna. I have a feeling she would be strong enough to kill sukuna if she had one of his fingers right now and ample amount of cursed energy. With her level of cursed energy i doubt she will be able to damage sukuna significantly, but if she used this time to undergo secret training, form a binding vow to increase her CE or found some cursed tool that allows her to increase her CE...and if she is currently the holder of the final finger..she has the potential to damage sukuna from within while keeping megumi safe. Not to mention doing this can probably save others from sukuna too, by striking at the right moment, just enough so that sukuna misses the aim..just like how Ino managed to take over Obito for split second and save everyone from ten tails attacks by diverting the aim ever so slightly. I have a feeling nobara has the potential to play a similar role..and that is the reason why i feel she could be alive. Though i wont mind if she stays dead either, because major characters dying means the situation IS grave and dangerous.

The power escalation has gotten pretty crazy in the series so she’ll be pretty far behind when she eventually does come back. I’m curious to see how they’ll work around that. Then again it really does seem like Gege could care less about a lot of the characters in this series 😅

Well they could’ve had her in a coma and wake up like during the culling games, so be able to take point on the timeskip. Plus she has like voodoo soul stuff so it wouldn’t be to crazy if she could pull some soul bond with Yuji, to share his resistance to Sukunas techniques from it being soaked in Sukunas energy.

Like Gojo said, if you don’t aim for the head they’re not dead. She got hit in the eye and he got hit in the stomach so they’re deff alive

Just saying, one of sukunas fingers is still out there, and Nobara using resonance on it after experiencing death, and possibly doing a pact, would be a good surprise hit on sukuna when he least expects it

If Nobara comes back and uses Resonance to the last Sukuna's Finger that would be LEGENDARY.

There's a panel in the manga early on that shows a future Nobara being held back by Megumi while Yuji is heading out for execution... and it looks like she's wearing an eye patch for her left eye

Gojo got sliced from neck to balls and stabbed in the head and he came back with RCT. I know it's the Honoured One doing it but I don't think they'd introduce something like that (essentially resurrection) for it never to be used again

Theres a theory that before yuji died the first time, he cursed his classmates to live long lives. Currently Megumi is still alive but trapped in the subconcious of an immortal being, and Nobara could be braindead, alive but unable to ever wake up.

On chapter 239 there was a phrase that says "The flower that blooms in the sea of death gets a second chance at life" Perhaps it was referencing Gojo, but my FULL COPIUM CT tells me that it could be referencing Nobara because she always has Flowers ornaments with her...FULL COPIUM!!!
