I love seeing the ones that are unplanned, like Pippin screaming at the fireworks, or when they drop Hans Gruber in Die Hard. It's similar to finding out when your favourite artists are doing some voice acting knowing how much fun they would have had doing it. But that J-Lo one, aww hell no that would give me nightmares.

What you say about Hitchcock and Tippi Hedren is wrong. Problems between them occured years after, on "Marnie" shooting, and it wasn't about refusing sexual advances. Hitchcock thought Tippi Hedren "belonged" to him because he made a star out of her. He and his wife taught her to act, he had her under contract, chose the dresses she was wearing, decided what professionnal event she should assist or not. She couldn't bear to be patronized nor objectified, and things went wild between them on the set. Hitchcock resented her for not beeing as good as an actress he thought he could make her become. He saw it as his own failure, he who claimed he could make a star out of anyone. During the argument, he said something like "you belong to me, I can do whatever I want". Mrs Hedren said he tried to kiss her on the backseat of a car, which is the only accusation of sexual advance Hitchcock was ever accused of. Maybe he wanted to show his point in a bad sarcastic way. Maybe his conduct was misinterpreted, or maybe he did try, driven by revenge more than desire. Throughout is 50 year of career, it's the only time a female star had to complain about Hitchcock's behavior. Mrs Hedren was married to a possessive man (future director of "Roar"), she was already a mother, Hitch and her already made a film together... So may be there was something else here than sexual advance.

How about the scene in Spartacus. When the slaves are escaping Kirk Douglas shoves the head of the lead trainer into a metal cauldron, he actually slammed the other actors head into the cauldron. If you watch closely you can tell the guy is semi-concious and almost drowned.

Stanley Kubrick seemed as though he was one sick and insensitive bastard. Both the Birds story and Shining, and I doubt that the breathing device accidentally malfunctioned, it was probably rigged... Jennifer Lopez' dress should have had a safety / quick release on it. What the hell were the safety staff thinking, if at all FFS. Fair play to Tobey Maguire and the cast around him for being so persistent and patient, and to Sylvester Stallone for jumping into trees from height. Damn...
