In the murderous and brutal world that we are currently living in, with not much to smile about, this makes me smile, just simple, genuine kindness from human beings, it takes nothing to show kindness, and that was a beautiful moment.

I love seeing these wonderfully human stories. As Ange recently said when being interviewed by another young fan, it shows that these members of the team are “top people first as well as top players”. (Slightly off topic, I’m not from the UK and have always found the regional accents fascinating. It sounded to me that Samuel’s family have similar accents to Madders. Are they from a similar neck of the woods?)

Yeah madders is from Coventry which is 70 miles distance from Stockport which is located in greater Manchester. They do have similar accents but madders sounds more from the midlands. Interesting which country do you support Tottenham from?

Maddison is from Coventry, which generally doesn't have a strong accent, it's quite neutral. Being from there though I hear he does have a Coventry accent. I guess to the untrained ear you might think is similar to the North West accent the family have. Most UK residents would spot the difference, but then struggle to pick out regional accents in the US or Australia for example.
