I think people forget how amazing Ray Allen was. I watched him one night when he was in Seattle go nut in the fourth quarter and end the game with like 42 and only had 16 points in the three. He struggled something awful in the first and did not miss a shot the entire second half. One of the smoothest Shooters in the history of the NBA.

The Celtics have a good team now but they need leadership. That Superstar tag they tried to put on Tatum and Brown to a lesser extent means nothing if you don't have leadership and a capable roster. They could run it back.

Kobe had a massive amount of respect for Ray Allen. Several games he wouldn’t even bother trying to close because he already gave Ray too much space and knew it was a bucket before it released.

Ray Allen's jump shot was a text-book example of a perfect jumper. He also had a very quick release, that's why it was so hard to block his shots.
