Because Shangri-Ira has an effect that protects it from destruction in cost of a material, so I need to attack it three times to destroy it (except for the first one whose effects got negated by Destined Rivals). So instead I went for the little thief that took my Tyrant Dragon.

There is no way out of 4000 atk that cannot be targeted or destroyed by opponent’s effect. The weak point is the continuous trap.

bro must have been playing against chaos max first time, doesn't know defense means double the damage

In my opinion, the Kashtira player really needs to put down that meta deck and take some time to explore different decks and playstyles. When the BE player pressed them, all they did was repeat the same combo, hoping for the best..... They also didn't seem to know that defending against BE Chaos Max Dragon was a bad idea. They need more understanding of the game before they try the meta.

There have been a lot of mistakes in Yugioh in the past year or two.

The Kashtira player threw so hard. I'm not sure why the guy went for the Shangra Ira that second time instead of making another monster to deal with the board. Unless I missed something, if they made a Dark Armed, Dragon of Annihilation instead, they could have easily wiped the entire board by popping the True Light. In fact, they shouldn't have been so focused on the zone locked in the first place. Especially when the opponent already has an established board

Yep, when he had Ogre and Fenrir he could have just declared battle to get rid of "True Light" and that would have cleared the board. But most Kashtira players only go for the Lockdown

After spending all afternoon getting screwed over by Kashtira decks, this was cathardic to watch.

This is why I always keep a beatstick combo in my back pocket like arvamax, borrelsword, or raiders knight into arc rebellion xyz dragon

Kash scoops beautifully for a Colossus under Elf's arrow. All they have is search, and level 7 doesn't go well with draw power.

Honestly a good blue eye’s player can manage a good amount of decks. Since 3k is a good base stat also with a good amount of support mixed with generic XYZ, fusion and link can be pretty versatile. I like to use a combination of those three EX deck combos. I do like a ritual build too.

Why did they make the latest meta archetypes so powerful. Level 7 monsters that can be easily summoned with search effects and banishing effects. Xyz monsters that make full uses of their secondary effects to lockdown their opponent. And they can be summoned back whether their banished or in the GY.

You need to have Blue Eyes White Dragon on the field or in the graveyard to activate either of Abyss Dragon’s effects. Not just any Blue Eyes, but vanilla Blue Eyes specifically, or Alternative.

I ran Kozmo against Kashtira once and it’s funny how their best mechanic of target removal cannot resolve because the Kozmo boss monsters can’t be targeted and they don’t have high enough attack to destroy you. Or when they do target your lower Kozmo, you can quick effect to tap out for another Kozmo 😂

@@redace4821 They didn't even reach that point. If I remember correctly, T1 Kash Unicorn then I impermed it then they used a spell card that draws two if they banished something on the field which I Ashed and they quit. Funny thing is, aside from those two, my hand was bricked.

If True Light is banished face down, it might not even trigger because it's face down, which is "unknown" to the opponent.

I had placed "The Ultimate Creature of Destruction" trap card, because I was worried he might destroy "Eternal Light". This trap card makes a Blue-Eyes monster an invincible monster for 1 turn, so even if "Eternal Light" got destroyed, its destruction effect wouldn't work on Chaos MAX.
