Barnaby is the perfect character to give Jesus a bear hug, I’m not really into rewatching shows or movies but I’ve watched that scene 3 times already, it cheers me up and makes me tear up every time ❤

I feel like He’d immediately bear hug you in return haha This show helps you relate to Jesus as a real living human being, but especially in the scriptures, Jesus has always struck me as someone that loves and enjoys the sincerity of human reaction and interaction!

I love how The Chosen has turned biblical figures into real people for me who laugh and cry and have emotions. I don’t get that from reading the Bible. Everything is very 2 dimensional and sterile in my humble opinion or at least that’s how I read it. I can’t imagine anything more beautiful than seeing Jesus laugh or smile. I hope that I can give him a big bear hug one day and see him smile.

I don't know where I would be. The Chosen has given me hope in a world of such chaos. Reading the bible and attending services at church help but this brings the bible to life, and now I have hope.
