Georgie is actually a very good boyfriend. Even in his panicked state, he never thought to abandon her or get an abortion, he was fine with supporting her through it despite the stress that came with parenting. Even though she wasn't pregnant, it's just the thought that counts.

Georgie is lucky she wasn't pregnant, but his fantasy of him and Jana getting married, if she really was pregnant she could have said "Ok stop saying "baby". This is not the 1950s, we're not getting married". Plus she could tell him he doesn't have to be involved, and there's always adoption. Plus if Georgie really did get Jana pregnant, like father like son. I wonder how George Sr would have reacted.
