When I was 4-1/2 months pregnant my mom died tragically. Four months later I was given a 10% chance to live. I had a serious pregnancy-related illness. I was rushed over two hours to the hospital via ambulance. The EMT and I talked all the way to the hospital. He knew I was near death. I beat the odds. Years later I became a Chaplain. After being called to a room of a very sick patient, I walked in to pray with him. It was the EMT. He said he often wondered what happened to me because he had seen many pregnant women die from what I had. Eclampsia is the #1 cause of death among pregnant women. I told him I survived and so did my beautiful daughter, who was thriving. We both got very emotional, cried and prayed together. He recovered from his illness. We both survived… thanks be to God!

You know, God doesn't want religious people, he wants your heart. I was looking at your comment and this just popped in my head. I don't know if you know much about Matthew, but he was a very cool guy. This is from Matthew 13:31-32. “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.” We all start as a mustard seed. I actually had the Bible app in high school when I was curious about trying to read it. 10 years later and I’m watching Life Church, I have the Bible app again and use it regularly. It’s wild how I can come across you again in a completely different way, but now as an adult reading the Bible for the first time. The Lord really does not give up on reaching out to follow Him ❤️ I was absolutely shook when I redownloaded the app and learned it was Life Church❤️

I wonder if the reason the leadership podcast has such a great response is because our culture has taught us that we need to climb the ranks and to seek positions of authority, and this is now being reflected in The Church. But ours is servant-leadership so I pray that these leaders are being truly discipled to serve others throughout the world taking the love of Christ and His reach to the end of the earth 🙏🏼

Hello Vinicius Thank you for joining us today. We are so glad that you are here. I would love to say a prayer for you. Dear Lord, Our God, I come before you for Vinicius with his desire today to obey you more. Please Lord look upon him and help Vinicius walk his path to righteousness. Guide his footsteps and keep him safe from evil every day. Help him make choices that are for the life that you want for us. I ask this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ-Amen. I thought of this verse as I was typing. The more we hear the word of God the more it will increase our faith and help use obey his will. So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ Roman 10:17 Be Well ❤️Lisa
