I think that's all of our problem. It's helping me to see "Obedience" in a different light. It's not that "I must obey", but that "He KNOWS, and I don't." I hope that helps you, as well.

So very grateful throughout my life for Dr. Stanley’s teachings.

I've often heard us referred to as "God's Instruments". Being a Musician, I am acutely aware of the importance of an "Instrument" being "In Tune". Being "Out of tune" makes it unpleasant for everyone around it. Being "In Tune" makes it not only a joy for the listeners, but, if that Instrument, be it a Piano, a Guitar or a Cello, could have feelings, IT would be much happier being IN tune than OUT of tune. "Obedience" is being IN TUNE with our Creator. That will ALWAYS make us happier than being Out of Tune with Him. "If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them." John 13:17

Deeply powerful message when combined with Dr. Stanley’s statement “you can’t disappoint God [more than you have already] and God won’t disappoint you.” Thank you Dr. Stanley for preaching this Good News to our ears.

I want to be obedient but I'm realizing that I only want to be for the wrong reasons. Because I'm scared to die without having changed enough and that he'll send me to hell. I love my sin more than I love him. But I want to love him more. But I choose laziness and I choose to find comfort in my sins. I'm desperate. I want him to change me. I can't change myself I really can't. I pray and I feel like nothing happens. I do evil everyday and go to bed apologizing and making false promises. I hate it here, I hate myself and I hate the people and mostly I hate the devil for all of this. I'm so sick of being bad. Yet I choose to be every morning. I have no support and I keep doubting that God ever even heard me. I'm constantly scared to die the man that I am today. Ashamed and sick with a love for sin. Oh Lord help me.

I think it would be a good idea to find a church in your area. And I would recommend getting a job if you don't have one. So that it will take your mind off of sinfull things that you want to do. And I would talk to some of the guys at your church about what you are struggling with. Also, once you stop doing certain sins it will become eaiser for you. And you should get rid of things that tempt you to sin. Another thing I would suggest is getting a hobby you like, a example could be playing classic video games. Just make sure that they are rated E, not M or T. And I would suggest reading your Bible every day for 30 minutes, it helps alot. I hope this advice helps you, and have a nice day.

The 1st step would be to KNOW that you are Born Again. Not ONE of us can live up to the Standard of True Christianity. That's why Jesus said "Ye MUST be Born Again." (Jn 3: 3-7) "ALL of OUR righteousnesses are as Filthy Rags." (Is 64:6) The "New Creature" that is "Born of God" can NOT SIN. (1 Jn: 3:9) Also read the whole book of Romans... especially Chapter 7. Paul is saying exactly what you just said.(The harder I tried, the worse I got. It sounds like you might be where I was... trying... TRYING, in the flesh, to do what ONLY the Holy Spirit is even capable of doing.) Let go, and LET God do what you can not do. God Bless You!

Yes that is true, it can hurt to obey, however what resulted from that obedience? - A perfect example for all Christians - forgiveness for sin - salvation of millions - hope for a new life - reconnection with God - the undoing of the fall of man - peace - the Holy Spirt was sent down to the earth - praise be to Adonai forever and ever - the joy that surpasses all understanding - power of death and grave shattered COMPLETELY - the world is overcomed by Jesus - we can pray to God - we can boldly come to the throne of Grace - Jesus rose again - Freedom - The Lord is still alive - Life is made new - we are built for God ( newly ) - Life And MUCH more!

Father what and how much is our part and what is both both of us?

- Is obedience a burden or a thrilling. It's suppose to be a privilege to follow God. Not something annoying but a pleasure that God is leading me to a blessing. This takes brokenness to get to that stage. - Like 5: 1-11 1. Obeying God in small matters is an essential step to God's thrilling rewards. There is no such thing as a small command because God is the one asking. And a blessing is coming! Jesus told Peter to borrow him a boat - sensitize yourself to God's fork-in-the-road so God can lead me 2. Obeying God will never prove to be disappointing, especially in hindsight 3. Difficult circumstances are often God's way to grow our faith. This is the Truth in regards to the One and ONLY Alahym, the Creator of heaven and earth and of mankind and of all things, YAHUAH !! The Sacred Name that He himself proclaimed to Moses on Mount Sinai which the pagans have tried to cover up and replace with titles such as “Lord” or “Lord God” over 7000 times in the bible, titles which were used for babylonian false gods (ba’al). His Name is the biggest revelation in the whole Torah (True Word and Law of YAHUAH) and it is the first Commandment given to us as an eternal memorial to know and address and worship our One Creator by His True Name YAHUAH and not by pagan titles!! He clearly says to not take His name to vain !! (3rd Commandment). The other most crucial Truth which they have tried to twist and pervert with their lies and through which they have deceived people into worshipping the beast is the name of our Glorious Messiah the Son of YAHUAH and his true biblical name is Yahusha (the name His Father in heaven gave him not men, as the original hebrew text shows us) not jesus christ!! Yahusha (YAHUAH-yasha) translates as YAHUAH is Salvation! Because he would come in the name of the Father in heaven to bring His Salvation!! The name “jesus christ” does not embody the Father’s name but something completely else!! It was created by emperor costantine at the council of nicea in an attempt to bring peace and unification to the roman empire by bringing all the pagan gods who were being worshipped at distant parts of the empire (all names of Tammuz the babylonian false god, the names simply changed after being dispersed from the tower of babel) into this one false image of our Messiah who could be accepted by all pagans unified by a false “universal religion”. The many pagan names were narrowed down to the most worshiped and influental of the time, hesus (druid false god), horus (egyptian false god), and krishna (eastern false god) which later evolved into jesus h. christ. The first letters of these three names in greek chi, xi and sigma are actually the letters which were shown to John himself to be the symbol of the beast and they were added together in a numerical value in error by the translators which would make for the number 666 hence the misconception that this number is the symbol of the beast. In light of this new false religion and false image of the Messiah was also changed the Set-Apart 7th Day Shabbat of YAHUAH (4th Eternal Commandment!! www.ministersnewcovenant.org/uploads/9/1/6/1/9161032/ls_book_2013_1.0.pdf - how to determine the Shabbat) to “sunday” offering worship to their babylonian pagan sungod! Christianity is the carbon copy of the mystery babylonian religion and has deceived so many people with its false trinity and incarnation doctrines (The heavenly Father is One he is not a bi-entity or a trinity!!) its pagan holydays and day of worship (not the true ordained feasts of our Creator mentioned in The Torah) its false teachings about the Law (the Law was not done away with at the “cross”!
