Dear sassy southern girl, I hope and have prayed for your redemption and hope that by now God has lifted your burden. I too drifted away, for over 24 years and have recently had a Serious conviction of sin that is soul Crushing. I'm embarrassed and ashamed of myself and wonder how in the world I could've let this have happened. My so many years I wasted and should've been spent seeking and doing God's will. That touch my heart so deeply because I used to feel unworthy and I give up myself to reach God. God infinity mercy is open to have everyone back if you genuinely repent. So true. I feel the love of God and Jesus and is the best feeling EVER.

Can I get a better understanding of what people want do

This was a message ordained by heaven for me today. Pay closer attention, remain humble and submitted.

I've drifted so many times...y'all please pray for me...I live in a town where the occult is very prevalent...even the authorities take part in occultism...they have stolen so much from me ...their hate has saturated me ..all I do is sleep and I'm afraid that I can't make it back. .my drug addiction days are over and I'm scared ...scared of becoming homeless and useless ...first time in my life I get I've been this dead ..so many against me I find it hard to do anything. .I don't want to drift anymore...But I am saturated with their hate...they have closed my bank account illegally, stole my art, slashed my tires I'm now broke, umm entered into a contract with people that planted false evidence against me ..they paid the taxes and now are after my house..I'm scared..I called the police. And I'm so down I can't even file a proper report...I'm falling into too much shame....I'm suicidal 🙏 He's right on point..I've fallen for the same temptation over and over . And now I need to recover. .help

Brother Eric, Fasting, prayer, and scripture study. Read Psalms daily. David was being persecuted, hunted, and scared. But the Lord gave him peace. The Lord wants you to have peace. The spirit of Fear is not from God. He will never forsake you. He promises to help. Got to trust him with all your heart, and wait on his timing. Will be praying for you. As a Nurse my advice is go to your doctor immediately. You sound like you are clinically depressed. You may need to be on antidepressants. Do not have any weapons around you if you are suicidal. If you have a plan to harm yourself call 911.

God is so good!! Just yesterday I let my mind drift into greed and discontentment and ended up feeling convicted and disappointed but thank the Lord for this word today. It’s like God directly spoke to me saying “here’s a way back to me” and I’m so grateful for having enough spiritual maturity to hear the Spirit’s warnings the first time. May today be the turning point in my life regarding feeling complete and defined solely by God and not the things I have or how I look! Amen 🙏

I can not drift too far anymore. Because there were heavy consequences. I believe God loves you and if you drift that puts you in a very dangerous place. He will do whatever it takes which includes painful situations in order to save you from eternal damnation.

I just replied to someone else's comment and thought I'd post the same reply here as well. I truly feel your pain. I backslid for 20 years and endured many agonizing moments. It took a LOT for me to repent and turn away from sin. I am happy to say that I am no longer spiritually starved, no longer backsliding. I decided to read God's word every day whether I felt like it or not. I simply obeyed. This was my turning point. Read a verse or two every single day. Forget about the whining and complaining and feeling guilty that I don't want to do it, and do it anyway. You will be fed regardless of how you feel. Just obey. One verse became two became three and so on. Discovering Charles Stanley this summer was the icing on the cake. I keep reminding myself to make sure I read God's word and ask God to speak to me, and develop my relationship with God. I then listen to Charles Stanley in addition to that, not in place of. God bless you. ❤

Always enjoying Dr. Charles Stanley's sermons. I sometimes feel as if I'm drifting, but I manage to regain my strength and call back on the Lord. It can be very challenging because of all the things that society has to offer. People think that they need these things but not realizing that they only need God in their life.

Dr. Charles does an excellent job of expositing the Gospel to believers and unbelievers as a real Pastor should. Dr. Charles is a genuine man of God, convicted by the Holy Spirit and purpose-filled to make disciples of Yeshua. He is the example of what Yeshua commanded to all believers to "go ye therefore and teach all nations....teaching all the things that I have commanded...". Thank you for sharing - it is refreshing to hear a Pastor speak the TRUE word of our Heavenly Father!

Such an odd thing how much I enjoy the melodic intro music. It's a good lead-in to Dr Stanley's purposeful sermons and reassuring voice. All of which are great gifts from God. ✝️
