This is the best reviews I ever watched amount all other reviewers (I watched 20+ others), not only it details in a way with data comparison with other models in the same category, but also with very reasonable pros and cons in all aspects like drive responsiveness, comfort, fuel consumption, design, more importantly the price (especially about tons of options for Cayenne Coupe) etc. he knows what our customers would really expect from the review, definitely done a good job, Alex.

Coupé is the French word for "cut". Since these SUVs are the "cut" version of a larger one, technically the word applies.

The E-tron is a waste with 180 real miles per charge you’re actually going to get. -looks like a car with a Tall roof 😂 …not a SUV

The Audi Q8 is a SUC and the Cayenne coupe does offer both a 4-seat and 5-seat configuration. I'd personally take the Cayenne coupe or A.M. DBX but the GLE63 AMG would be my 3rd choice.. Great review! 👏🏾👌🏾👏🏾✊🏾

i see this market segment as the charisma section. for me the GLE amg is as good as it gets, the x6 don't stand out, the Porsche has the best looking headlights and tailights, and the audi e-tron looks nice but not that nice.

Coupe is a word with a longer history than when we all were born. Coupe - noun a short, four-wheeled, closed carriage, usually with a single seat for two passengers and an outside seat for the driver.

Call it whatever you want. I'm obsessed with this car and I have to get one.

Alex this was a great review, I have a BMW 2016 50i and looking for the next vehicle. My choice were Range Rover Sport, Cayenne Turbo, X6M and the new GLE AMG 53. I have test drove the Range Rover ah kind of dull, and I hate to say this but I always wanted the Porsche but I have driven cayenne , cayenne S and cayenne turbo and I just don’t like it, feels like a Chrysler mini van too me, I was shocked don’t like the view out the windshield as I feel,I’m sitting on the floor. Plus way too many moms driving it. Leaves me with the GLE and X6M, haven’t driven the GLE yet nor the new X6M but the Mercedes does look and sound great and a little classier than the beemer although I like the bmw handling. thank for your views as it is down to the merc and bmw hopefully,once I drive them it will be clear. Kirk

Ever since the original BMW X6, I've yet to fully understand the fascination with this class of car...er coupe-ish SUV. You get less, pay more, and all in the name of "style". If you must, the Audi Q8 is probably the best of these types.

Coupe, not Coup-A. Whew. Finally.

Several of these "coupe" SUV things running around my neighborhood so after looking at them everyday I can unequivocally say they are both ugly and weird looking, however the BMW is much better looking than the Benz. Granted the X6 I usually see is black or a really dark burgundy, blacked out windows and black wheels which definitely helps a lot. If you actually want a "coupe" SUV that looks good the Q8/SQ8/RSQ8 is the clear winner, really good looking.

This very close to a properly proportioned sedan (or saloon). But it's a liftback, like KIA Stinger. Just a little bit more, Germans. You almost have it here.

That cargo cover works exactly like the one in my 16-year-old SAAB wagon. I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it?

When is a Coupe not a coupe... when it has 4 doors is the good place to start . Coupe, def. a car with a fixed roof, two doors, and a sloping rear.

If you like the way it looks...great! That's subjective. But imo, these things are stupid. They don't drive as well as sedans and they aren't as practical as regular SUV's. AND they're more expensive! But I guess there's a market for them.

Only the premium brands have mastered the art of turning a good looking SUV into a bastard stepchild.

Is there really a market for these hideous coupe SUVs? Do people really look at this and say “wow, what a beauty”? Ok, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. A coupe is supposed to beautiful, ride low and sporty. An SUV is supposed to ride high and be comfortable and practical. These don’t mix. You just end up with some weird looking compromise which handles worse than a coupe, has less space than an SUV and is less practical.

This is how I feel about watches, especially watches in the thousands or tens of thousands of dollars; like you have a damn phone that tells the time... But it's a fashion statement that's important to some people.

When I see Mercedes, I think of endless money pit. That's all.

Sorry if I offend anyone who might like this, in my opinion this is one of the worst trend in the luxury SUV 🚙 segment. The only decent looking one in this segment is the Audi Q8, the BMW X6 and the Mercedes GLE coupe just ewwww 🤮🤮🤮🤮.

This is one of the stupidest designs I've seen on vehicles in recent times (Merc, BMW, Porche, etc). I just don't see this as any remote improvement over the SUV counterpart, and it doesn't look good to nearly anyone I talk to. Guess manufacturers are trying something, but come on...
