The JHMCS sight is a great tool. When you set the red triangle as your SPI, it showed the field of view of the TPOD. Dashed lines show the field of view unzoomed, no dashed lines it is the zoomed view. Amazing piece of tech, amazing job by ED.

Do you know how expensive those things are????????? 😉 I'm usually a helicopter guy but I've started using the A10c and I'm loving the loiter time and weapon load it gives you. I set up my own mission that takes 3 to 4 RTB's in a helo to complete, but with the A10 it can be done in one launch ... and I may have to add some targets too. Loving it.

I was happy to see someone using side slip, I had read about it and tried it a little bit in DCS too, but I am not experienced enough to notice the effect that much or read the instruments very well.

I've had engagements like that - flying an A-10A bomb truck is very much as satisfying. Mind you, the F-16C is a more satisfying high-speed interdictor, and far more capable compared with a Harrier...thanks for the fun videos as always, they are very much enjoyed.

my pedals broke ages ago, but... yes, yes it does. It feels REALLY strange in a real aircraft, though.

Hey Ralph, has anyone ever told you that sounds just like Bill Hicks at times? 😂

I have been watching for a while, so I should be used to it, but goddamn you are amazing with that gun. It doesn't look like you're using pedals and joystick to point at the targets, more like you're aiming like in an FPS game. Do you use any curves on your rudder? I have tried to get better at using them for pointing the nose when strafing multiple targets, but it feels like any light touch moves the nose wildly off to the side.

it's all about experience. I use like a 30 curve on the rudder.

the harrier is a better plane because it is cooler. I will not concede.

I was on the fence as well, but after throwing in a new GPU I decided to just do it. There isn't a huge difference, just a bit less stuttering and fps drops in Multiplayer. DCS will use the new memory though, I see usage upwards of 55GB on Syria in MP.

I remember people saying 16 gigs was far enough while it wasn't (ofc also depending on use case, heavily scripted MP servers with lots of action hit much harder than every other SP mission)... go for it while it's still kinda affordable. The whole market situation isn't going to get gooder anytime soon.

MWS (missile warning system), works in conjuction with RWR.
