If you had to do it on a budget i would stick or pin blankets up. They absorb so much cold and sound. Thicker the better and you want them to be as wrinkled as possible. Heavy comforters or fleece blankets something thin or lightweight isnt going to cut it.

Would you have any suggestions on how to block outside noise from coming in from a window? Specifically, low bass noise from a backyard caused by a basketball thumping on pavement and a soccer ball being kicked.

A noise reduction window insert works well. Indow window is a brand I tested in a past video with good results!

@soundproofguide Those are really expensive-- I've checked. Have you made a video about doing it yourself, and what goes in it?

I have a two-story townhome and in the master bedroom I have a wall that’s about 16 foot long with an 8 foot ceiling and I have two window openings. One window opening is 16 inch circumference and the other one is approximately 58” x 71” rectangular opening Both windows are hurricane impact, double pain with Argon gas I am trying to research which is the best way to eliminate street noise the rolling of the tires of vehicles trucks the vibrational noise also some of the muffling, tight noise of these jacked up mufflers. What do you recommend?

I have this issue as well and I think for those types of sounds you need MLV material

@@beebee4334 is that something I can put over my existing wall and then add another layer of drywall or do I need to remove my existing drywall and redo the wall?

I would like you to do a video for people who have fibro walls, especially if you cannot remove them.

You can use either. But you’re right, I should have mentioned the silicone red devil caulking. 😊
