​@@fathaja179thats not confirmed. however in fiction elves usually age differently so a 50 year old elf could be 10 in human ages. depends on what type of media

You know, I honestly respect using a static map instead of the Genshin Interactive Map. It does add a layer of challenge and doesn't spoil much besides the locations.

i totally agree about the sumeru desert region kinda being overwhelming. As a casual player i took a break after finishing main archon quest in sumeru bc it was a lot to content to take in after finishing a pretty long series of quests with slightly mind numbing twists 😅 i lived vicariously through u by watching ur leftovers series when i don’t feel like playing genshin 😬

I did the same thing! I’m on the Caribert archon quest after a 2 month break. The kaeya skin got me to come back but I’m really glad it did because I’ve been loving the 3.8 event. I think I’m gonna try to push through and finish the desert archon quest this week! We’ll see if I actually have the motivation though. Glad to hear someone else did what I did tho lol!

i really love the hydro eidolons for how expressive they appear and how fun it is interacting with them. i found myself impulsively saying thank you to every eidolon that helped me solve a puzzle. ❤ also, this event taught me how to pronounce eidolon properly. lord knows nobody in HSR ever said it out loud. 🤣

loved the event and the story ^^ getting the skin on the first day is a sort of determiner of how sane kaeya enjoyers are

This event made me proud & happy to be a kaeya main so congrats to fellow kaeya mains

im glad that hyv made this event easier than last years. although the storyline and just the story in general from last year was my favorite, i always enjoy happy events like these especially since the main storyline of genshin is already very sad. i loved klee and kaeyas interactions as well as eula and collei's and i hope we get to see more of them in the future!!

At one point you get some sort of compass and I started running like a madman to get everything I could. I wish the isles had something similar. I loved them sm :)

I was a hardcore player with 100% progress on my map before. But for me, sumeru desert is indeed too much. Not because of the amount, but the scenery looks almost the same and makes me tired😭 Anyways, KAEYA IS SO COOL~ WOHOOOO❤

Same I'm a pretty hard-core player but I burnt out bad cuz having to absorb intense lore quests that are hours long while working on my final year of college was too much for my brain to handle. Sumeru was the most dense genshin had ever been and I dont think most folks with anything happening in their lives could realistic keep up

As a big Kaeya fan we All love Kaeya’s new skin and details of his outfit is amazing Edit: The event is so wholesome and always bring Klee along , RIP Golden Apple Archipelago but this new area fits for bringing Eula , Collei , Kokomi and especially Kaeya and Klee moments for also adapting more of a Sumeru like Landscape

i loved this event purely for kaeya and klee's interactions! also totally agree with you regarding sumeru for casual players, i still to this day haven't finished most of the desert puzzles and the underground gave me such a headache (even more than the ones in inazuma lol)

I don’t know if anyone commented this yet, but the group of enemies in 6:53 are supposed to represent the main gang! Kaeya, Eula, Kokomi, Collei, & Klee (who is obviously the tiny Pyro Slime just jumping around).

I’ve missed following along with genshin stuff as updates come out :,) after a decently long break (maybe over a month and a half!) kaeya’s skin brought me back and I stayed for this amazing event. I plan to force myself to tackle the desert tomorrow to get ready for fountaine!! 💪 Good luck to anyone else who experienced burnout and is trying to get back into things. You can do it!!

i can agree with how the remaining half of the sumeru can be a little overwhelming to casual players (as in myself) i think the structure of the desert itself is explanatory as in there is SO much to explore (inside buildings, above and underground, not to mention how wide the desert is) it can be a little overwhelming to explore everything. i enjoyed sumeru so much, especially the archon quest (made me fall in love with nahida as a character) but it felt too much. i uninstalled genshin and recently reinstalled it because of fontaine and oh damn there are lots of new mechanics/enemies being introduced ngl i got a little dizzy just from playing the game for like 15 minutes. i feel like im missing out alot game wise, but i really want to experience fontaine myself so im probably gon try to push through. regardless, i hate the desert so much i cant wait to get to fontaine archon quest.

As a casual player, I agree that with the second half of Sumeru I drifted away from genshin. Maybe it wasn't only the overwhelming content at factor. I started in 3.0 and by 3.3 I had completed the entire archon quest and started with the other stuff and by 3.7 I stopped enjoying it as much as I used to ( I stayed up nights to complete the Liyue archon quest because it was so exciting to me) So the craze had subsided a little and also Honkai Star Rail happened. I had the same phase again but with hsr and now I don't even bother to get the Kaeya skin because I have characters who are busy in other quests so I would have to do so much work

as a casual genshin player, i watch your content to see everything i miss out on because i am simply too lazy to do it myself.

Kaeya main too, love his new skin and Bottle Land is just a sweet little adventure. True, Sumeru desert is a drag. Hours long unvoiced quests; Jeht part 1/2, Jinn part, Sorush part, puzzles areas are frustratingly locked behind clearance, you only unlock by doing almost everything. I have been determined to gather all Dendroculus so I kept going. The pyramid exploration had cool ideas especially that red ominous atmosphere, but aside from Jeht’s quest, most of the time I felt like it didn’t matter story wise. I wanted lore on King Deshret, and it was just easier trough lore videos. I had more fun with the Aranara to be honest, despite the length, it was more lively.

I got kaeya’s skin from only playing like an hour. Because every part of the map we would unlock I wouldn’t do the quest until I know I got every single chest in that area 😭. But I got his skin before even starting part 3 of the quest. The struggles of being a kaeya main. 🤭

I totally agree with all you said about the lore in the Sumeru region tho. Like, I loved it and all, but it was indeed a lot to take. Sadly I also did not have much time irl, and did all the quests quite late (and to this day, I'm still not done with some). Another thing that puts a lot of pressure is all the spoilers we get on social media. Basically, makes you wanna be able to finish the quest before people start posting about it. It is irritating imo, and I really don't understand what's the point to post the entire plot on social media on day 1. Cuz even without searching any genshin related stuff on social media, I still end up on spoilers and that's irritating. I wish people would slow down...

While i liked sumeru, i can understand why some people didnt go through it. My inner Anakin was like NOT THE SAND! But i pushed through and got 100% completion in Sumeru, and it was worth it. Especially the desert world quests.
