You mean the USA lol ? Tbf I think 4000 a month and then needing to beg from relatives doesn't mean her family was rich. Maybe uppermiddle class and maybe even racking up credit cards for all we know.

I don't have to and don't care because free healthcare leads to shit like Canada's MAID being offered to a paralympian who just wanted a fucking wheelchair ramp on her house. "Oh you want an accessible house? Have you considered Self Termination?" ~Trudeau, probably.

There's a quote from a certain KZreadr that runs through my mind any time I hear about someone getting what they deserve. “The only thing that works in this world, is that you treat others the way they treat you. Those who treat me with kindness, I will repay that kindness tenfold. And those that treat me with injustice, that use me, that hunt me down, that hurt my friends, I shall repay that injustice a thousand times over.” His life was claimed by cancer a year ago.

Idk if this even counts because idk know if they were spoiled since this was the 1 & only time I had an interaction. So my summer b4 my senior yr I was working with my dad landscaping the house we were doing was near a high school so we'd see teens walk by a the time. On this day I had just finish mowing the lawn & 3 guys were passing by when 1 of them tells the other 2 see what happens when you dont have a green card you have work for ppl like us. I think he thought I was illegal & or didnt speak English so I wouldn't understand either that or because it was 3 of them & 1 of me id be scared to say something. Boy where they wrong because I went off on them well mostly the instigator. I told him that I was actually born here as far as being stuck working here im actually helping my dad becauseI like providing for myself instead of depending on mommy & daddy for everything & the reason I could do that is because I'm not a dumb ass who's stuck doing summer school. His own friends laughed at him until I told him what you thought I was gonna back out because you got your friends with you but idgaf ill k.o u then phuck them up. They all stayed quiet now im sure if they would've stood up to me they'd kick my butt butvi think me standing up-to all 3 probably made them think maybe we shouldn't mess with him

I was the spoiled brat. I don't exactly expect lavish things or an expensive lifestyle, but I did grow up getting pretty much whatever I wanted. Never had to cook, had a maid service that cleaned the house, never had to do chores of any kind. I always knew that eventually I'd have to fend for myself and couldn't expect the same lifestyle. Once I got to college, I dedicated a lot of my time outside of classes to learning those basic skills. I learned how to do my own laundry, learned how much food costs and how to balance quality with price, and got really into learning the best cleaning strategies. I still struggle with some aspects, but I'm really glad my parents raised me to appreciate what I have and not act entitled.

I have a story about avoid a situation. I am in a dnd group its me and my best friend we are both 16. 4 adults and we keep having to change the last person because they stop showing up. well we finally got someone who stuck a 15 year old girl who was saw them selves as the best thing since sliced bread because they have some diseases which makes people I assume not try to show her what she's doing wrong. well thought out the campaigns that we have all been in she had on multiple occasions called me an idiot and on multiple occasions tried to make my best friends character a sacrifice. so my friend and I had a discussion and decided that if she would not agree to be civil after a conversation addressing the problem we would chew her out infant of the group. my friend said to me "just make sure not to say anything that might hit to close to home with her whole diseases thing." I replied "I don't give a shit about her problems if she is gonna act like a ass hole then I will respond that way." luckily we were able to have a civil discussion and the problem was solved for now its only been two weeks since the talk so we will see what happens from here.

I'm glad things worked out halfway and I hope she comes back and actually gives your friend a proper apology. Hopefully your group goes a lot smoother. Something you might want to keep in mind for future situations if you do ever end up having to call someone out is that not going after someone's illnesses isn't about whether they were an ass or not. If you do that it makes you less safe of a person to be around for anyone else who might have something going on. I stopped hanging out with a friend because he made fun of a girl he didn't like for a condition my mom has. Doesn't matter that she definitely deserved criticism, going after someone for their disability isn't criticism. So it's always best to go after someone for their actions and not their illnesses. Not saying if she continues being a jerk that you shouldn't return that and be one back. Burn the bridges and salt the earth if you need to. But that it's always best to stick to criticizing what a person has done, not something about themselves they don't have control over. Anyway, hopefully she wises up or you can replace her.

  • @Byorgan

@@feistsorcerer2251 so I wasn't going to go after her disability. if I had to get into confrontation my friend said I should lessen the verbal blows because they had disabilities. I was not going to do that because if they would talk shit I would ask shit back. I was raised to not treat people differently based on anything everyone deserves respect until proven otherwise

It’s nice of you to cal me patient, but trust me, if it had come out in the tone it’s running through my brain, it would NOT have gone over well 😂 luckily I went with the words I’m thinking but in a sickeningly sweet customer service voice. In my head, it’s more like, “Yeah, you and everybody else! Do you actually think you’re the only one waiting for class right now? Get over yourself!” I’m a) not looking to get fired, but also b) historically bad at regulating tone, so I was concerned lmao

The Pool and Snooker brat and the seemingly reasonable sister, what happened there? How did one turn out ultra-competitive and the other so chill? Story 8: The OP standing up to the parents must have scared them so bad that they begged/demanded that the school no longer allow parents to come in a discuss fights between students after this happened. That's a weird rule change. I wonder if it led to more at-school fights.

I was baking at age 4 by myself. I'd get everything out, read the cookbook, double or halve the recipe as needed, etc. The only thing I couldn't do was use the oven. My daughter has been helping with car maintenance and home remodels since she was 1. She's 6 and learned to lay laminate flooring last year. She can mud drywall and paint. I've lost track of all the stuff she's learned at this point.

People seem to have forgotten that 100 years ago, kids learned all of this stuff at a young age with no problem (AND they still had time for play). Kids are so much more capable than people realize. Their brains grow exponentially in the first half decade of life. They are like little sponges.

I salute you to making these videos when you feel sick or have a headache. Okay so once in 7th grade this girl was always out showing what she bought at the mall for example she once bought really expensive shoes and she wasnt like just there with new shoes she would constantly say stuff in class like "I'm sorry I didn't do the homework because I got new shoes" or the worst one "sorry no your dad doesn't buy you nice shoes" I hated her and everyone else did to so one day this new kid comes in you could tell he wasn't from the richest part of town and he became this girls main target so after a few weeks he finally snapped and remember the new shoes he took them away from the shoe rack during gym class and threw them into the dirt he then said "now we have the same dirty shoes" and walked away Tldr: wealthy kid likes to show off and gets owned by a poor kid

Story 2, context is nice but this is just overkill to get to the fact someone tried to take to much KD at a food-bank (which if their at a food-bank, don't think that counts as "spoiled") also cooking, cleaning, and baking at age 2 is both concerning and I don't blame the school for that. Sure may have just really enjoyed being an housekeeper and that was your best life, BUT at surface level appearances it 100% looks like child labour.

I don’t believe in beating kids but if a kid bullies/hits another kid, then self defense is in order. I never hit my child but I did punish him consistently. It was always about consequences. If he did what I told him not to, then he knew ahead of the act what the consequence would be. It became HIS CHOICE. 😉
