Not to say that it isn't mostly fair, but the standard medium tank of the US at 5.3 (M4A2 76) can barely pen the front of a panther's turret, whilst a panther would be hard pressed to find a spot where they won't pen any point on the sherman. While I do know that almost all panthers' turret traverse is abysmal, I believe it in part makes up for it with overall better mobility. Also, I would say that American players are mainly tired of facing tiger 2s in uptiers when the best gun they have to face it is bolted onto a poorly stabilized, open topped, lower on the scale of mobility m36. Other than that I and to my knowlegde most US players don't have a large problem with the matchup at 5.3-5.7 Edit: grammar fixes to help with potential confusion

@@cookies_n_milk6224 I don't get the purpose of your statement. I don't mean it in a demeaning way, I just don't understand it. My statement about Panthers was to say that in a fight between an equal br Sherman and panther, there is a larger probability that the panther wins. If you take that information, then it is obvious that an experienced player could win a 3 on one on a not significantly uncommon occasion. I was trying to explain that though exaggerated, the complaints from US players have foundation. I was also saying that the main issue wasn't in the tiger 1, but American uptiers into facing tiger 2s. Americans have a harder time in an uptiers than Germans in most cases because the guns they have to use are much worse than the German counterparts (save the m36 but it is a slow, paper thin armored, open topped, poorly stabilized vehicle)
