When genomic testing guides treatment
Genomics isn’t yet a magic bullet for every case, but sometimes it can make a huge difference to someone’s life. In this film, research professor at the National Institute for Health and Care Research and an honorary consultant in clinical genetics, Professor Serena Nik-Zainal, shares a heart-warming and extraordinary patient story.
This film was originally developed for the course: 'Genomics in the NHS: A Clinician's Guide to Genomic Testing for Cancer (Solid Tumours)', produced by NHS England's National Genomics Education Programme and hosted by FutureLearn.
