When my family was flying back home from South Africa, we were all pretty tired from the 2 previous flights. On our last flight, the flight attendants came round for breakfast, in which my siblings and I declined because were were a bit nauseous and super duper exhausted. Near the end of the flight, one of the flight attendants came up to us with a plastic bag and told us to pick a number between 1-10. We all said a number and he matched the number with the Kit-Kats he had in his plastic bag. He said he felt bad because we didn't eat breakfast, so he wanted us to eat something. Absolute angel.

My flight once got delayed. And every other passenger was fighting and being rude with the crew to have them put on the earliest flight possible. I was calm and it is quite obvious that it wasn't the crew 's fault. So i respectfully asked them for an alternate flight. The flight attendant was so sweet, she not only put me on priority list for the next immediate flight, but also gave me a 15$ voucher that i can use in any restaurant inside airport. Before anyone can be mean to any flight crew, just try being nice to them. Trust me it works wonders..

They are protective of their own species, and show solidarity. I was once travelling in an empty plane with 17 passengers and one off-duty flight attendant. The flight attendants treated her as royalty, literally. They had all the time due to the flight being of short duration (4-1/2 h) and so few passengers. By the way, it was a single class configuration A320. They cam in turns chatting her up and catching up with what is happening in life. Then they got her blankets and pillows (it is a low cost carrier without those stuff), shut all window shutters and let her lay across three seats and sleep for 3 hours out of 5. Again after she woke up, all VIP service. She got to the front washroom. They keep the front washroom reserved for the pilots and themselves and direct the passengers to the toilets at the back of the plane, even the ones sitting on the front row like I was. Other than me, rest were low income blue collar employees in the Middle East, returning to India and they didn't even buy any food or do sky shopping (to save money) etc. Those passengers played with their phones a few rows away and were like nonexistent to the crew. I had paid for a meal, so got the attendants to bring that and pick up the plate later. It was very striking and over the top favouring of their own and ignoring (not technically deficient in service because it is a low-cost flight) the others.

I am glad someone is getting good service on their flights because the rest of us plebs are treated like...plebs. If you come to Canada, fly WestJet or Porter if you can. I had a flight attendant give me a chocolate bar and a full size thing of twizlers for free because she saw I was having a panic attack. Most memorable flight I've ever been on and I will never forget it. As we were getting on the plane initially I said hey I'm a nervous "fligher" I was young and with my family. She showed me some if what things do and regularly came up to me during the flight and right before we were about to get any turbulence she would come up to me and crouch down and explain what was going on and what was going to happen. Sweetest flight attendant ever!

@Thomas Shannon oh. lol. no, I am aware. I don't think people can remember experiences and conversations word for word-although there might be some cases where people actually can (I'm gonna have to look into that). What was presented might not be the exact same thing that actually happened (not 100% real), but I trust that the core of it is the same. So, I don't believe it's 100% real... but there may be some truth there. If none (as in 0%) of it is a lie, then, whatever. It doesn't hurt me in anyway-plus, the video is still quite wholesome to watch. :) (edit: sorry. I meant "true," not "lie.")

She was the same flight attendant who was giving out snacks, she gave me a cup of tea and a granola bar and when I tried to pay, she said I had helped her and she would pay instead. This was 4 years ago, I will never forget that flight ✈️

I got up to use the washroom & decided to hand over some wrappers then made convo while waiting. Told her about it being my first flight alone & my excitement, then she gave me run down of good foods to look out for. She also handed me a free waffle crisp like snack that had a filling in the middle. It was delicious & I savoured it for the next 4 hrs bfr the descent listening to John William orchestra & reading a book. 😊
