I'm a firefighter and we got called for a broken gas line. A crew laying a storm sewer in an alley had hit it. I'm there, My Captain's standing there, and then the foreman from Gas and Electric are all staring into this hole and not one of us had known that was where the gas main ran. Turns out it was the only part of the city where the gas main was run up the alley instead of the street.

Had a car door slam shut on my fingers when I was a kid thanks to a huge gust of wind. My uncle had already locked the car so I couldn't open the door. He thought I was playing a prank so he walked off shaking his head... Left me there for a couple of minutes in absolute agony. Paid me £100 to not tell my mum he left me there with my hand stuck in the door! That one brought the memory flooding back, I had completely forgotten about it until I saw that 😂

I had this once with a metal garbage bin at my grandparents place during the holidays. Came out more than a tad drunk thinking "hey wasn't there a bin here somewhere?" and halfway through the thought, I hit the bin, bounced off a parked vehicle, and ended up with 2 broken ribs.....this guy though, that looks maybe worse :/

Jesus is the love of your life. The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. ✝🌅 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. ✝🌅 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: Matthew 22:2-5 ✝🌅

@Svartrbrisingr I somewhat agree but I'd rather them be taught a little hard labor and know how to do it when it isn't necessary rather than it become necessary and they don't know how to do it. But, at the end of the day, they are free to live their lives how they choose. It's not my choice. I can still clown a feminine fella though. Lol

@Svartrbrisingr Eh. I feel like every man should get in a little bit of hard labor. Otherwise you end up with guys like this whining about a blue collar worker that made a mistake (And most likely not his mistake) on the job. People make mistakes on any job. That includes construction, plumbing, sparkys, welders, etc. If they got a little taste of it, they might understand it a little more. It could lower a lot of people's blood pressure and maybe even reduce that whiney lisp so many "men" have now.

He makes it sound like they’re completely incompetent and don’t think accidents happen. There’s no way to tell how deep the line is and going just a fraction too deep can pop the line. Yet he records and tries to make the operator look like an idiot. But I’m absolutely positive the person recording has never ever made a mistake before

@NicTheGreek1979 lol no threat brother I’ve been an arborist for 6 years and I’ve seen some horrible injuries. For those that haven’t really used a chainsaw honestly buy saw pants to protect the arteries in your legs. Never put the tip of the blade of your saw directly into the section you are cutting unless you are experienced with plunge cuts because this can cause kick back. Chains usually pop off when cutting a section of tree that pinches the blade of the chainsaw but 98% of the time the chain catch stops it from messing you up. And never ever run a chainsaw that isn’t fully assembled although that should be obvious.

That chainsaw bar falling off was downright lethal!

  • Jay Miller

    Jay Miller

    5 ай бұрын

@AJD / Well, when you buy a new chainsaw you generally need to put it together. If you use a chainsaw, replacing the bar and/or chain is routine and not like driving a car off the lot. Whoever put that bar clearly did not tighten the retaining bolts properly. If you replace the wheels on your Honda and don't tighten the lug nuts, are you really going to blame Honda when the wheels fall off while you're driving?? Because that is the same reasoning.

  • AJD /

    AJD /

    5 ай бұрын

@Jay Miller prove the parts were not correct etc first.. and most would not do that in this situation so yeaah sorta is the companys fault just off this video.. if im driving a honda and a piece falls off im blaming honda

  • Jay Miller

    Jay Miller

    5 ай бұрын

@AJD / Respectfully, I disagree. The manufacturer has no control over whether or not people put the saw back together properly when they replace or adjust the bar and/or chain- or if people know how to properly operate a saw and know what to do and what not to do when dealing with the saw. If someone doesn't know how to use a chainsaw properly and they try to cut into a log using the top front portion of the bar, that saw WILL kick back; possibly right into their forehead. This is common knowledge for anyone with chainsaw experience and it is described in every chainsaw manual, yet people still do it. It's not Stihl or Husqvarna's fault if that happens and causes catastrophic injury. Similar to if someone has a circular saw, miter saw, angle grinder, etc. and doesn't tighten a new blade or disc down correctly and the blade/disc flies off during use. Yes, there are usually safety guards built into the tool to ideally "catch" the blade if that happens; but nothing is foolproof when blades are spinning at high rpm's. I think far too often people just rely on manufacturers to account for people's ignorance or lack of training and believe that if they do something wrong, nothing bad should happen because the manufacturers should account for these mistakes. Power tools of any sort need to be treated with respect and the knowledge that these things can injure/kill people if they are used wrong. Would it be fair to blame Ford, GM, or Honda if someone replaced the wheels on their vehicle and didn't properly torque down the lug nuts and the wheels fell off later when they're going down the road?

  • AJD /

    AJD /
