Micky is one of the few comedians who really does have me doubled over in hysterics. He's witty, intelligent, sharp....has gorgeous hair....and just a lovely, lovely guy.

Another classic from one of the funniest comedians in the UK. Top work Micky. Can't wait til you go on tour again!! Soon I hope...

I had a proper Peter Kay "GARLIC BREAD?" moment just then. As others have already said in the Comments: bugger baguettes and extra virgin olive oil - real people have cheap bread and beef dripping. Sprinkle of salt, mug of sweet tea. Magic. Lots of kids saw it as the best meal of the week when money was tight. It was a real treat. We couldn't afford actual beef, but the local butcher would always have fresh dripping available for us plebs. Loaded with crispy bits. You could do Yorkshire puddings and roast spuds in it that were better than anything any celebrity chef could come up with. I was going to call bread and dripping the food of the gods, but it's too bloody good for the like of them. ;-)

We used to have bread and dripping when we were kids. Dripping was basically congealed lard that had gone hard after the meat had been cooked in it.

I remember it well. My nan and grandad used to give us bread and dripping. My grandad used to make me sugar sandwiches too....my goodness, could you imagine giving kids sugar sandwiches these days? You’d have mothers groups snitching you up to social services lol.
