The Woman in Red arguing with Pierce in the beginning was absolutely infuriating. He is far from obese but that is a typical narcissistic tactic, when negativity is being directed at the narcissist they turn it around back on the other person gaslighting at its finest

In early September I flew to India. A 27 hour flight. Seats on airplanes are uncomfortable as it is, but I'm currently fat. Around 250 and im 5,6". I was in SO much pain and walking the huge airports while tired was a nightmare lol. The whole experience was a major wake up call. In 2013-2014 I lost around 100lbs. I looked and felt great!! Over the years I slowly gained it back. All my fault. But since the flight to India.. I've started cutting calories and am happy to feel myself slimming down again. Being fat is painful. I don't think these women realize how good it feels to be smaller. I feel bad for them and worry about their mindset. I can't wait to be 150lbs, and I don't care to be hungry sometimes to get there.

Well done. Stick to it. As they say it is not how many times you fail and unfortunately obese people fail more than they succeed in trimming down long term but the fact you picked yourself up when you regained the lost weight and are losing it again. Eat healthy is the main point. DO NOT restrict valuable healthy foods trying to cut calories. REDUCE those foods your body does not need gradually until you reach the point that you can treat yourself occasionally with the foods you enjoy that impact you negatively weight wise. From what you have stated I know you will succeed and benefit in the future. Never give up is the key.

There was one of these morbidly obese women glorifying morbid obesity and she died because of her morbid obesity. I've been morbidly obese at 115kg (Americans can convert that for their weight measurement) and my internal organs were swimming in a sea of fat and had decreased function as a result. So I changed my diet from junk food to healthy fresh food and cut out a lot of the sugary treats I ate and sugar in general. My stomach screamed at me for sugary treats and other junk food, but I ignored my stomach's complaining and in turn my body turned to the reserves of fat that I'd built up and turned that fat into energy. I now weigh 85 kilos and my internal organs are functioning correctly and my blood pressure has returned to a low reading. I had to stop taking the blood pressure pills as they made me giddy. When I was fat I was knocking on the door of type 2 diabetes but now I've retreated from that door. I didn't do any and still don't do any extra exercise and nor did I go to a gym. My bank account didn't need to lose weight, I did. When women scream about fat shaming it's because they flatly refuse to face the truth. I was a big fat porky slob like the women in this video. But unlike them I can face reality. Junk food has been around since the 1920's and yet people didn't get fat from it because it was a once in a while treat not everyday food. Food portions have been supersized with huge amounts of sugary drinks and foods being consumed. Cigarettes get the blame for everything that ails us. But sugar has a hand in it too and we all consume far to much of it because it's been added to nearly everything we eat. In my local supermarket the fresh meat and fruit and veg are the smallest parts of the supermarket. The processed food aisles are the biggest as are the people.

Everyone's metabolism is different. But, Everyone creates fat the same way. The body creates and stores fat because you consume an excess amount of calories. If you eat less calories, you have less extra to store as fat. The fat you already have is stored "calories" your body uses during that caloric deficit. Your diet fails because you like food. It tastes good. You stress eat. It releaves anxiety. It makes you sleepy.... You fail on your diet because burning your fat doesn't fill your stomach. It doesn't taste good. You have no self control.

I'm not a fan of fat shaming. It's a rude and immature thing to do to another human. HOWEVER, this modern trend of fat normalization may be worse. A goal of achieving a healthy weight should never be argued against.

I think fat shaming your friend in person and not publicly is okay unless obesity is due to some problem other than unhealthy diet and lack of physical activity. It motivates the other person to lose weight. I myself have been obese 3 times in my life. Once I was 85 kgs and got down to 68. Then I got 100 kgs in covid and got down to 73. Then I again got fat when I started working and reached 95 and again now I am 73. Everytime I lost weight was because of my friends and it was worth it.

The problem with obesity is that ones you get older you're feeling more and more miserable, depressed and abandoned but by then it will be way to late to change anything for the better. You will die alone after years of feeling sick and being physical incompetent and there's nothing you can do to change your horrible fate. If only you would had been a little more...

No matter the subject, the discussion, the participants, Pierce is guaranteed to be insulting, off-putting, low self-aware, and a long-time narcissist. YET, the morning show continues to employee him because he walks up to the edge but never crosses the line to put the network in legal peril. Like a car with only one gear, Pierce has only one approach with people. He’s tiresome. Get on with another fresher, more positive and balanced talking head.

Fat shaming is not the answer. Try quitting smoking after 34 years, during that time menopause kicks in, estrogen drops. Then Fibromyalgia hits. I lie in bed for a year in excruciating pain until a diagnosis is found. Husband is afraid to touch me and then ignores me. I try different diets and none work. Everything I eat adds to my weight, but not husband.s Finally got it off after a few changes. But no one knows what an overweight person is going through. Fat shaming makes things worse.
