@@i30n_fb yes they would, because he would he retired from f1, i doubt a retired f1 driver would be worth as much as they were while they were an f1 driver, he wouldn’t be doing it for the money in the end anyway as he’s already made a crap load of that in f1

What are the paddles behind the steering wheel? They look like paddle shifters, but he is using a sequential gear stick. I don’t get it.

Was he heel and toe or left foot braking...or did they turn the electronic blip control on for him. I wanna see a pedal cam 🧐

I believe you can slam the gear on the upshift, and keep your foot hard down. On the downshift you have to blip (or let the electronics do it). Could heel-toe or just left foot brake, depending on what your preference is I guess. Watch the Red Bull video with Checo in Melbourne👍

it was hilarious that even as a F1 driver how wide his eyes got at times. lol. please come drive bathurst? while i'm here. thanks again Supercars for providing very short highlights of the event at 1am. your breaking connection with the F1 event and then timing the event to coincide with the F1 was sheer "genius"! don't think any of the company which is now "Supercars" are anything but bean counters. it also seems that telecasts are becoming more for pay tv than your loyal, long term fans. the people who are your fans in this example "ARE" the ones that keep the sport alive. we buy memberships and merch and tickets, etc, etc. the very moment you took V8 out of the name, i knew the downfall of the series began. a few years from now it will just be a carbon copy of BTCC and the true fans will have walked away in droves.

Danny really does seem like the nicest guy in racing, and there's a few out there these days.

I'm only guessing here but maybe they installed them for Daniel to be more comfortable but he didn't end up wanting to use them?? Or... Maybe ones a handbrake for locking the wheels while on the jacks in the pit? and when staging for the lights at the start of a race?, but then i wouldn't know what the 2nd one would be for. I know that SVG uses a paddle on the back (all though not as huge) for his coms to his team in the pits

Actually forget what i just said aha. On the kelly cars they were used for brake bias. Every team has a different use case for them

I believe that was how Kelly Racing engineered their brake bias adjustment in their cars then.

This was awesome to watch! When will V8 Supercars have an official video game like Formula 1? Someone from Supercars ought to reach out to Codemasters to make it happen!

@@kresnodwipojono Yes, to get people to watch it more due to the algorithm. Trust me, he drives for McLaren and is in his second season with them. He drove for Renault from 2019-2020.
