My friends dad was pulled over for doing 48 in a 45. The officer (well known in the area) would not give him any breaks. The dad took it to court and won. The same officer pulled me over while a girl i was friends with was driving for a "low hanging" exhaust on her Honda. It was pouring rain and he told her that she wasnt taking the car anywhere till it was fixed. I had to shimmy under the rear of the car and tie up the hot exhaust with a coat hanger another officer gave us. The other officer was such a nice guy and understood what was going on. The two officers had a bit of a spat and the nice one told us to take off while they stood outside a Kwik Fill gas station and continued to argue.. When the 'offending' officer retired (early retirement some say forced..) other police officers 'applauded'. Dont let one bad cop (or whatever the profession) taint your opinion of said profession..

That’s the new thing these days to catch traffickers of human and guns and drugs, probable cause even if going 1 mile over. Used to be no police officer would pull you over for even 10-15 mph over unless you were being reckless or a know person. Times have changed

Shouldn't the person try to pull over in a safe spot for both the officer and themselves? I mean I've seen asshats pull over even in the median on highways 😂. Criminals aren’t generally the brightest people. When I would transport my shipments I would always set cruise control at 5 under and then stayed in the right lane. Never got pulled over once while I was holding. Never got busted period, got out the game unscathed.

With the last guy, the fact that he wasn't ID can depend on the laws of the state when it come to giving out personal info OR he's a CI and even though he got caught they wont release his name. He may or may have not gotten all those charges if he was/is a CI.

i live in georgia. here, you have to be going at least 5 over to get a fine but you can technically get pulled over and cited for even going 1mph over. but that cop must’ve been bored as hell to pull someone over for going 5 over, especially if there was no other traffic violations

times like that you look back and feel damn lucky. i pulled a uey at a narcotics checkpoint, lit me up and wanted to search. brought a dog and it never alerted to the bricks under our seat, got a ticket for the uey lol. my knees were about to buckle watching that dog circle around the whip.

Then after find pistol in Tahoe that cop was going to let him go untill the other cop questioned that. maybe dodgy debt payment by car dealer or insurance scam or maybe he contract them to do hit was going to report Tahoe stolen later.

The only way you can truly show a cop that you appreciate them is by being totally cooperative. That doesn't mean forgetting your rights, it means being respectful, yes sir/yes mam/yes officer - and keeping your hands where they can see them. And even if you don't appreciate them- act with respect and don't be stupid.
