@@Denis-89 so I’m now wondering if this is the way he acts towards all his fans and just says, “I don’t know that person so I will be condescending, distant and not engage with them.” It’s not even about the hug. It’s about a fan (famous or not) going to meet one of your favorite celebs. Yea, he didn’t have to hug her, but handle it in a way where you don’t look like a misogynistic jerk. Giving a hand shake is basically the best he could’ve done as being an actual gentleman. He acted like He was going to get herpes from a touching her. Okay so then you’re gonna argue, he doesn’t have to touch her at all. So she originally said, “Hi Jerry, I love you so much.” He never said thanks, he never asked who she was and dismissed her right off the bat. Just because you don’t know who someone is, doesn’t give you an automatic pass to be a jerk.

If I'd been Martin Short, there's no way I would've given KLG a pass on that. I wouldn't have blown up on her, but I would've said (as gently as possible, but with an edge) that I _had_ been married to Nancy for 30 years until she passed away from ovarian cancer. Then I would have watched KLG squirm properly and know she just effed up. Then I would have made a joke, like, "It's not your fault, you're drunk." And everyone would've laughed, but inside KLG would be sick with herself, thinking, "I should start researching this stuff before I open up my big mouth next time." You give her a pass like he did, she's just gonna turn around and do something like that again to somebody else.

I don't think she did it with malicious intent, she was genuinely unaware that she had passed away. Had Martin Short gone off on her, it would've been a bad look for him. It actually speaks volumes that he's calm and self-aware enough to realize that going off on her, despite how hurt he may have felt, isn't an appropriate thing to do given the context.

Michelle Rodriguez was right. I really don't understand the push to co-opt these roles and being proud of it, it's like getting excited for hand-me-downs or even plagiarism. You could have your own characters and stories written with you in mind, instead of trying to adapt someone else's work in a less natural fashion. Of course the natural backlash of this is pointing to where other cultural stories were "whitewashed", but the fact that they demonize that in the first place cements the fact that they already know it's wrong. Neither is really ok.

To be fair, while I get the controversy, I also kinda get Pete Davidson's point.......Then again I also get how your first panic attack (And I mean real panick attack, as in you are 100% certain that you are dying of a earth attack and in a lot of cases end up passing out) Mine ended up starting like that and being followed by about 8 hours of feeling awful interrupted regularly by other almost fainting moments...However, the main problem is how it was the start of an ongoing constant series of serious mental illness issues related to anxiety, depression, other diagnosis that has been lasting for over 15 year and that started by this first panic attack followed by daily panic attacks everyday for weeks despite medication and therapy....But still, I remember how the first one was especially awful. Also, while I feel that my situation is rough, I'm 100% convinced without the shadow of a doubt that there are a lot of people who have it much worse.....So I kinda can understand both how talking about a panic attack can feel necessary and how it possibly can help people, I kinda can also understand how it can feel a bit like barely surviving a car crash and ended up with countless injuries and then hearing a famous personality writing an article about suffering a serious fracture (Which absolutely sucks). So yeah, I think that this one is kinda more layered. I don't think that Davidson should have said what he said the way he said, and that he should not have devoted a whole SNL segment to it, but I can't blame the guy for feeling that way. That being said, were all entitled to talk about how we feel, being in pain isn't a freakin contest about who's got it worse, and saying "I shouldn't complain because other people have it worse" can be kinda dumb, knowing that others feel even worse shouldn't make you feel better......However, it should help you keep everything in perspective and help you do your best to be considerate when it comes to how you talk about it and how it can affect others.......Then again, we're all humans, I'm sure that many people would have issues with what I just wrote even if my intentions are sincerely good. Good luck to everyone out there.

If you have to use a computer program to interpret your idea for a painting you may have a creative mind but no talent to make that creative vision come to life. So screw AI, and all who use it to make yourself feel good. If you feel like you missed your calling as an artist the leave well enough alone and don't try passing yourself off as an artist if you haven't been able to pick up a pencil and sketch out your vision or a palette and brushes don't use AI to fill in the gap of lack of training. But if you do 1) Do it behind closed doors with the curtains drawn. 2) make sure that you wash thoroughly afterwards. 3) Never admit in polite or otherwise company that you indulge in such acts. 4) Do not contribute to the warping of young minds, by encouraging the use of AI to create with.

Why can't we make up our own superheroes and start a whole new legacy for a new generation and they can feel that those stories were personally written for them?
