Jay Lue I hate when people say shit like this. EVERYTHING seems hard when you’re a beginner, it doesn’t mean it’s a hard piece to learn/play. It just means it’s above YOUR PERSONAL skill level. But Fur Elise is absolutely a beginner piece.

As a classical, rhythm, and lead guitarist I identify with that greatly. My mom (who doesn't play an instrument) always asks me to play songs that are very out of my scope of abilities at the moment. She says "It doesn't sound that hard! It's got to be easy!" But any classically trained musician would agree that playing a piece on guitar that was designed for an orchestra is not an easy feet. It also bugs me when someone says they can play an instrument and they know only one song. Or they can only play songs they've learned because they've never studied music theory in the slightest.

I actually never minded that song. As a cello player it’s my job to add the touches that make the violins pop. There are plenty of pieces where every instrument can shine. It’s the conductors job to put together a show that brings out of every instrument.

a double bass video would be hilarious. "What's a double bass???" "Uh, it's basically a big cello" "What's a cello???" @agnidas5816

    4 жыл бұрын

Why does your guitar have four strings is a perfectly fine question ... some people prefer a 7 string bass guitar for example. Four is sort of the standard default because it is all you need to accompany the lead and rhythm guitars well. Lutes (original guitar) had more strings originally to be able to play by themselves - a bass guitar is not expected to play on its own so it has fewer strings (similar to how violin and viola were broken up into 4 string instruments to fit in an orchestra setting).
