ABOUT: Universe Sandbox 2
Universe Sandbox ² is a physics-based space simulator that allows you to create, destroy, and interact on an unimaginable scale.
It merges real-time gravity, climate, collision, and material interactions to reveal the beauty of our universe and the fragility of our planet.
Universe Sandbox ² includes the desktop version and a VR mode with support for the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift+Touch, and Windows Mixed Reality.
Simulate Gravity
N-body simulation at almost any speed using Newtonian mechanics. Real science, real physics, no supercomputer required.
Collide Planets & Stars
Epic, mind blowing collisions of massive planetary bodies that leave behind molten craters.
Create Your Own Systems
Start with a star, then add a planet. Spruce it up with moons, rings, comets, or even a black hole.
Model Earth's Climate
Watch sea ice grow and recede with the seasons because of the tilt of the Earth: change the tilt and change the seasons. Or move the Earth farther from the Sun and freeze the entire planet. Learn more...
Supernova a Star
Make a star evolve by cranking up its age or mass, then watch a supernova unfold.
Explore Historical Events
Ride along with the Juno and New Horizons spacecraft, or view a total solar eclipse.
Throw Planets in VR
Just grab and fling.
And more...
Material System - build planets out of Hydrogen, Iron, Rock, & Water
Stellar flares & volatile trails
Procedurally generated planets, stars, & galaxies
Pulsars
Light-warping black holes
Original soundtrack by Macoubre
Support for 20+ languages
Share & explore simulations on Steam Workshop

*Floofy shibe* I also find it exciting. I’m a college student who has an undergrad in biology and majoring in biotechnology. Pretty interesting how viruses function and work. Is it sad the tragedy it is causing? Yes. Does that give you a right to wish death/ sickness upon someone else? Well technically you have the right but morally I’d say it’s wrong. It’s a very scary thing, but also cool and interesting at the same time. Maybe try being a little more positive instead of wishing ill towards someone else

"I know someone's gonna be able to tell me how many megatons of tnt equivalent this is, at 10,000 lightspeed" See that's the thing, Gray. I’m relearning Spanish and struggling a bit with confusing wall and floor. So this is timely. There’s been a lot of, “I have a floor, a nice floor. It is... a brown floor. These are good walls, blue walls. They are walls that are very blue. I like this wall.” 😅 I like to anchor the words by interacting with them while saying them, so there’s been some lying on the floor like a starfish saying, “Piso piso piso,” and petting of walls, murmuring, “Pared, pared. Pared.” It’s kind of lucky I don’t have roommates. 😂

“because nothing cool ever happens to the earth” Let’s just say that didn’t age too well 🦠
Quick physics lesson: inertia moment The equation for calculating inertia is I=MV², with M being mass and V being velocity. This means that a tenfold increase to velocity is the same as a 100-fold increase to mass. 1/10 of the mass at 10x velocity yields an inertia 10x higher.

It's going to happen whether or not you believe in God because he believes in you and His plans are made already. 2 Peter 3:10-13 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed. Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
