Got this a year ago, no regrets. It is exactly what I had hoped for: Sturdy enough, easy to set up and store away, inexpensive and compatible with my fanatec gear. If you have to share the TV and living room, there is no better solution.

Ive had my wheel stand pro for about as long as you have and the stand has been great! I just purchased the RGS module to add the TH8 shifter. I wish the center bar were a bit longer as you mentioned. I may just contact Wheelstand to see if they offer a longer tube. Great review!

Good video I have had one for my G27 now for 4 years and it still works great. Must purchase for someone like who has no room for the proper seat and have to drive from the couch (I just simply don't have space for it). But I love the same things that you did and the only down side really are that its little unstable and those cables on the floor. If you are considering buying this go get its not going to be waste off your money 👌

I've wheel stand pro deluxe v2 stand for over 3 years now and it's still a beast and works perfectly fine with T300RS.

Got this wheelstand, because the clamp in my wheel broke so I finally got an excuse to get a wheelstand. I thought it was just a more convenient way of mounting your wheel, but it really does affect the feel of the car/force feedback in a positive way. I guess if you clamp it to a table, you lose some of the forces to the table. So definitely a great buy, I feel like I'm much more precise in my driving just after 2 days of using it.

I just do F1 style racing so this solution was perfect, especially for someone like me who just dabbles and isn't seriously tied into the scene. It adds a multitude to the feel of the car when racing.

I love my WSP. Had it since 2015, as I really don’t have the space, for anything bigger and it’s fold-away nature is perfect. I have a T300rs base with the Alcantara wheel add-on.

Just paid 85 for mine, waiting for the stand now. Can't wait to get into some Dirt Rally 2 on it. Having issues with my pedals basically slipping away hence why I decided to buy it. And if the addon was mostly 20-30 eur I would have bought it as well.

Here I am looking at your long term review 5 years later, and it seems its still one of the most sold and highly rated stands on Amazon. I am a bit worried the center pole will be annoying vs a stand with two side bars and I didnt like how the shifter mounted but I see the RGS adapter fixes that, but then adds yet another bar lol. Overall so many choices, but this looks like the one I will probably go with, unless by now you have something new for me to look at? I have an old G27 that has been sitting in my closet forever that I stopped using because it was too much a pain to setup and take down off my desk. So before I sell it off at a yard sale, willing to get a stand and give it one more good go. Either can play it on my new computer with an ultra wide monitor (used to use a 3 screen setup back in the day) or take it out to the livingroom and play on the big 120" movie theater screen with surround sound :)

Thanks for the review. At first, I wanted to buy a GT Omega stand, but then I did some measurement and I realized it's really heavy and I don't have space to store it, because of my furniture in the room. Currently I have a G29 set, but I have plans that I will replace it with a CSL Elite Wheel or T300RS and a T-LCM pedals (for the shifter I don't know yet, maybe I will replace it to TH8A or fanatec, maybe I will just buy a USB Cable). I was a bit confused regarding the WSP versions and reached out to support before buying. They were answering quickly to all my questions, so I will buy the Thrustmaster version (it's compatible with the G29 as well, incl. the shifter) and there is an option to buy only the plate replacement for the CSL Elite, directly from them if I want to. I hope this will fit well, it definitely looks better and more comfortable then mounting to the keyboard tray on my desk :D Also it's not too heavy to put away every day, folds easily and the dimensions looks quite small. If it"s good, l will buy the RGS Module later.

It's arrived and it's great :) I don't need to fold, since with the G29, I can put the pedals "part" under the bed (and the wheel and shifter are next to the bed this way, wsp in opened state). I think I will replace my shifter later, and then I will buy the RGS part.

will this stand hold a moza r5 steering wheel (5 Nm feedback)?

Get wheel lockers, sliders or put one of the wheels in the shoe

Have you had any issues of the centre column twisting left/right when you turn the wheel? The column is completely locked, but still won't hold.

try tightening the rear screw of the clamp locking arm, it tightens the grip as far as i know. Also, there are "anti-grease" pastes on the market as a last resort.

Hello! Thanks for the excellent review. I have a question though: is the RGS module upgrade compatible with the V1 version of the wheelstand? I’ve had a wheel stand pro for my G25 since 2010. I’m considering finally upgrading to a G29 but I’d like to keep the same wheelstand but add a RGS module. Do you think that’s possible? Many thanks in advance for your answer!

10/10 can recommend to keep the shifter of the G25! Also button placement isn't that nice (of the G29) but the shifter will fix that problem.

I have the wheel stand pro V2 that I use with the Thrustmaster F430 and I am very satisfied but now I want to buy a T300RS. Do you know guys if the stand will be compatible with the T300RS? I made some research and I am starting to worry because it seems there is a stand for each wheels "category" and I don't want to buy another stand...

I know that this video is quite old now but i hope you still answer some comments. I am thinking of buying one but i dont know if a steering wheel stand for a other wheel supports mine or it doesnt matter. I have a Thrustmaster T150 for the ps4 which i got for my birthday and would like to start sim racing. However im not quite sure as I said if I can attach my wheel on it.

Can the shifter be set to the left of the wheel ( straight from the box) as all the pictures on the website show it on the right.

How about the centre post, does it obstruct any right legs movement during brake and throttle/heel toe?

With the G920 my pedals keep slipping off of the rubber :L

How's the brake pedal on your fanatec pedals? I have that same set and I've never really used them because the brake feel is very "crunchy". The load cell seems like it might be defective, or they're just not very effective.

I have one of theose stand and never feel like it's in the way when driving....however playing wrc where you constantly counter steer/battle with the car, I feel it's not sturdy enough. Having said that, I dont't have that problem playing Gt7 or ACC

is it comfortable to use on a couch? I feel like the wheel would be too far forward

Depends on the couch. If it's one that is slacking, I'd say no. A more upright one would be possible

How do you lock your office chair in place so it is not moving back while you press pedals? It is the biggest issue for me and I am driving on some uncomfortable kitchen chair as it doesn't have any wheels and doesn't move.

Just bought one on eBay. It will be great to get my wheel off the desk. I plan to build a stand out of 2x4s to put my Thrustmaster shifter on. I made one before and it worked really well, but I had it screwed to the floor. This time I want a bigger base so I can move it out of the way when not using it.

Hi Can I ask you if you ever tried to mount a handbrake on this stand? I was thinking that I might get the extended arm for shifter as you have and than use the basic shifter mount next to the wheel for a handbrake...the cheap one moded from china....do you have any idea if this might work?

man,I have a TS-XW Racer base on it with TM Sparco R383 big 33cm rally rim and T-LCM load cell pedals setted at 85kg and is not moving a bit.Solid as rock wheelstand.

BUY THIS (If you want to throw $200 away)!!
