    Hey buddy. I love all your videos there are very helpful. I have a question: I have a JT on 37s planing on going 38 soon with 2.5” Mopar lift and after market wheels with a backspacing 4.75 inches and I would like to install the same wheel spacer you did to get a little more poke out. Would that be ok? Tires already stick out about 1 to 2 inches out just wanted a more wide stance. I don’t off road crazy, light wheel on snow or dirt but minor. I appreciate your help !

    Since running your spacers do you hav want issues with uneven tire wear or any other concerns from them. I’m contemplating going with some 1.75 inch cub centric

  • @gabrielback5615
    @gabrielback56153 жыл бұрын

    Should be mentioned, in some areas/countries, wheel spacers are illegal and your insurance company can refuse to cover you. Also they put a lot of side load on your wheel bearings, causing premature wear and failure(as do offset wheels) and so should be limited to 1" or 25mm. Also illegal in some areas is to have your tires protruding out past your fenders.

    Hi, What would happen if I added the spacers to my 44 negative offset Fuel 20 in rims on 35's? They have a 4.5 inch back spacing. They already stick out 2 plus inches on my JL but the look of a Jeep I saw today with half its tires untucked looked insane..... I have a 2.5 in lift btw....Love the weather there...... It was 14 below here in Minnesota last week....Thanks so much...

    Nice ride. I also use spacers on my 2018 Sport. I like your video/instructions but when it came to the rear drivers side by no means should you have to kick a spacer into place. If it doesn't slide on with little effort it's more likely than not causing more stress on the lugsBut I also re torque my lugs every time I change oil/rotate tires

  • @c130aviator

    @c130aviator

    3 жыл бұрын

    The front pass side was the one I had to kick on. Its a sign of tight tolerance in the machining process and then a layer of thin anodized thickness makes it tight to the thousandths. This is completely normal and not stressing the lugs.

  • @5arge

    So does the spacer size dictate whether or not the original lug studs poke out of the spacer which doesn’t allow the wheel to sit flush against the spacer? For example I’m not sure what size spacer you used, probably would have been helpful to clarify but say it was only an inch and a half, wouldn’t the original lug studs be longer than the base of the spacer?

  • @c130aviator

    @c130aviator

    3 жыл бұрын

    I may have missed understood you. At 1.5 inches the lugs won't stick out. You are correct I should have clarified that a bit. Don't go too short or you loose strength in the studs. 1.5 is a small as I would go.
