I did the same thing in little league. I sucked ass at batting, so if I knew I was gonna get hit, I just took the free base. Took some to the leg, one to the gut, and a few to the head. Until they started using some ball pitching machine instead of a kid from the opposing team.

He actually made a really smart decision. The crown of the head is the strongest and most armored part, unlike the temple or the back of the head. So by letting it hit the crown of his head, he actually minimized his chances of getting a concussion from it. With the helmet, he may not even have had any swelling afterward, just a tender bruised spot.

@4:35 was a a-typical syncope, he held the breath totally wrong, and blocked the oxygen supply for the brain for way to long, first he got dizzy and the "jump" is the brain firing to "restart" ... to get totally morbid, you see that when somebody has a terminal head injury in his last moments.

He hit the pillar that's behind him. If he had hit the projector you would have seen the image on the screen move but it didn't. Also, why the hell was the guy using a right hand club but swinging left handed? If there would have been a ball there, it could have gone in any direction depending on where he hit it.
