I think most of the wheein stans are hardcore mamamoo stanners, because she's always overshadowed by other members. When I ask my friends who are new to mamamoo, they'll mostly talk about other members, heck my brother even said that wheein just looks normal and typical for him. But when you watch and watch lots of mamamoo vids, you'll eventually find that wheein is so much more. A hidden gem indeed.

I used to be like your brother too. When I watched my first mamamoo mv, egotistic, Hwasa and Solar caught my eye, because I thought they were really sexy. And then I watched their old mvs, Um Oh Ah Yeah, and Decacolmanie then I stanned Moonbyul coz she was so damn handsome. Like they three damned my sexuality when I watched it. I didn't really think about Wheein at all. But then gogobebe came out and before I knew it my search history was full of wheein's name. And now I know almost all her songs more than the other members, and now wheein just became my ult bias. I still equally love all of mamamoo members though, you could never just pick one, stanning wheein was the closest I've ever gotten to unstanning the rest of mamamoo members. But hey, in the world of moomoo, there's no such thing as "bias"😜

I stan the absolute heck out of Hwasa and Wheein. No one I know even looks Wheein's way despite her being the best vocalist hands down. She just doesn't get the most runs and quotable parts but when you listen to her solo songs they are fireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and in my opinion the best solo artist of the 4.

Wheein's the best vocalist and best dancer in Mamamoo, FACT. She doesn't have her personal brand down as strong as the other members (which is why she often gets overshadowed), but she's objectively the best at almost everything in the group. Even her humor is the funniest imo - as someone who speaks Korean and can understand the nuances, I feel like Wheein's wit is impressively fast, subtle, and smart.

The only thing that get int the way she's not as stand out as the other in the first glance, once we get to know the group there's when we realize Wheein really as stand out as the other. Wheein doesn’t stand out at first because RBW put her as the backbone of MMM. That’s why she’s always harmonizing with others in the back and doesn’t have that many chances to shine individually. But her vocal is one of the best in kpop. And once you whee-in, you cannot wheeout. Wheein has become my ult bias. And this is my first time stanning so hard.

Wheein is one of the most talented vocalists in kpop right now and not enough people know this. Also her dancing is smooth and almost perfect Her rap has huge potential and she is new visual of mamamoo Wheein is perfect.

The one thing I noticed about Wheein is that once she smiles at you, eyes curling and lips stretching, you really can't get enough of it. It's a magnetic pull all on its own, like the starting point of her myriad of charms. Next you thing you know, you're hooked. You know what they say, once you Whee-in, you can't Whee-out!

Wheein was born with so much talent and potential, I've watch some pre debut videos of mamamoo. I've noticed that wheein is already good at singing even before she trained as a singer.

Wheein has the best control amongst the vocalists in Mamamoo, and the best versatility for dance. Solar is great at belting and power notes, Hwasa is great at breathiness, Wheein does both. Moonbyul has great swag but is relatively genre locked and will not do sexy for example. Wheein can do essentially every style - hip hop, sexy, cute, peppy, etc. She’s also a visual. I love all Mamamoo members but it hurts me that Wheein is so underrated

Wheein is like the backbone of mamamoo, she plays a vital role in like every harmonizing and she be frickety fracking talented

Imagine her being born and raised in America and supported and promoted by a good company, she would’ve been a world star because she’s so talented - in every way!

Came here to say wheein is the best vocal in Mamamoo. Don’t mistake volume for best technique. No shade solar is great (they all are) but she is often pitchy when going for her notes.

I want moos to hold a special surprise event for wheein. we need to make her feel all the love and joy in the world, who knows where they will all be next year and i feel like moomoos haven't done enough for wheein, cuz literally moonbyul solar and hwasa have all being touched by their fans to the point of crying their eyes out but we never managed to touch wheein to that point, even though wheein tries to control her emotions very well but we should try and do a surprise event and let her feel our love.

let me be very clear, Wheein is objectively the strongest vocalist AND dancer of Mamamoo. Vocally the gap between Wheein Solar and Hwasa aren’t that big at all. They got similar supported range, similar approaches in singing, similar strengths and deltas. Wheein though, got the cleanest support in lower range (down to G#3 consistently, while SoHwa got A3), the most relaxed falsetto and the least pushy mixed range. Though Solar and Wheein both got C#5s, Solar still is chestier and pushier while Wheein is less chesty, she can still be pushy at times still tho. Overall Wheein is slightly better rounded as a vocalist than Solar and Hwasa (keyword: slightly). As a dancer tho, Wheein is superior as a technical dancer by a landslide. Moonbyul, while of course is inferior because of her lack of versatility, can have sloppy arm controls at times, footworks, balance and core control are some other stuff Moonbyul needs to further improve. Wheein is seriously way up there real close to the God Tier Kpop female dancers. Balance, isolation, power control, versatility, arm control, footworks, floorworks, facials, you name it, she got it. The only thing Wheein lacks of as an idol is a concrete brand for herself. Hwasa is the genius of establishing her prototype being westernized, sensual, fierce. Solar and Moonbyul are great at establishing their individual brands as well, Solar being cutesy AND feminine sexy, basically the closest one in Mamamoo to a standard female Kpop idol, Moonbyul is the classic tomboy with husky raspy rapping voice, boyish facial structure, tomboy clothing, hell even her natural mezzo soprano voice plays into her prototype perfectly. Wheein on the other hand, hasn’t clearly defined her “type” yet. She has yet to put herself in a certain box, that’s why a general audience would have a much more difficult time distinguishing her from the other members. When the manager said “Wheein is the backbone of Mamamoo” I fully believe that. Wheein is the glue that connects all the unique members’ prototypes together. Her voice is the most middle ground, perfectly serves as a chorus harmonizer. Basically why Wheein while might not get the most lines all the time in the final songs, is actually the one who sang the demo guides of their songs the most. Her stage presence as an idol is the most versatile as well. She got some of the boyish charm of Moonbyul, some of the cutesy sexy flavor of Solar, and some of the sensual fierceness of Hwasa.

This the story how me turned to be moomoo At frist around 2017 i kept seeing hwasa there and here and i thought who this girl? Then i find out she is mamamoo member. Then i began to listen mamamoo song and read some article and binge watching mamamoo on variety show. Then i fell for byul charm 😂 and idk why wheein keep caught my attention and slowly wheein crawling to my heart and slowly but surely my love to her grow bigger and bigger to the point it surpassed my love for byul 😂 wheein is really precious talented humble pretty and cute baby. She is too good for this rotten world.

She doesn't have a distinct brand as the other members (Hwasa=Sexy, Moonbyul=Girl crush, Solar=Visual that meets any of their concepts) but I do agree that she's the most well rounded MMM member plus her charms and crackhead energy are 💯 A queen of all trades of you may. I'd choose her over other generic gg members anytime.

chhantea chta i 100% agree. i know right now that it’s being speculated that’s either Wheein or Hwasa have been trying to take a break for their mental health, and most are thinking that it’s wheein, which is why Moonbyul and Solar have had solo debuts. i can imagine that Hwasa would have a solo next and then they would either have a full comeback or wheein would have a solo album. if wheein had a solo i would hope that she would explore her own career and do more variety shows and hopefully get her own instagram and/or youtube channel. i want her to succeed so bad😔

@@vivisus8541 Yw! Btw when it comes to Mamamoo, I don't have a vocal bias because I consider them as one voice w/4 distinct yet blended colors. But when it comes to personality and dance, I am definitely Angel Line biased, haha! I do think Wheein is the best dancer - she learns quickly, is very smooth yet sharp, can do any dance flawlessly, and I've seen her being the first line teacher when they had people joining and needed to catch up (sounds like a lead to me).

Honestly I think that the other members of Mamamoo would agree that Wheein is the ace. I remember Moonbyul being really impressed with her and her attitude for dance and picking up choreography. When Solar was first learning Watercolor for their mycon tour she was struggling a bit and said in response to Wheein doing Honey, "Wheein is not going to be the problem she's good at EVERYTHING." Hwasa is of course the og Wheein stan and when she co-produced Starry Night she insisted on Wheein getting a lot of solo vocals because she wanted everyone to see how talented her bff is.
