Now that weird hooky thing with the ring on is off a draught horse's tack used for attaching the traces to the big collar. Horses don't pull carts they push them by pushing into the collar. The horse shoes that Arron pulled out would have been put onto a big horse the farrier would bend over the ends to give the horse better grip going down hill so the cart didn't push them down steep banks

This might seem daft at first, but I think, with the river’s in flood as they are, life jackets or at least , a safety ring ought to be with you, whilst working on slippery banks and fast flowing water….

we do have a life jacket for willow when she is there but we are always very cautious when we are out. thank you for your input though.

i wish people would protect old bridges and other older things because they have caractor not like today drab nice river clean on top anyway good going northants magnet club at least some one is cleaning the place up and having fun doing it good going 🙂🤙🦘terry
