The reason it caught on fire is because when you were cutting it with the dremel, the metal sparked because of the friction, when the battery was then punctured, the released gases got caught on fire due to the spark.

Uhm. I am sorry to say it, but that is not completely right.. The battery did not catch on fire because of the sparks from cutting the Metal, it has done it by itself. Because lithium polymer batteries (LiPo's for short) catch fire completely on them own if they get punctured or short-curcuited. Edit: Oh, and the tesla battery did not catch on fire, because lithium ion batterys do not react that aggressively whilst being punctured or cut in half. Well, they do. But not as much as LiPos (But i am not completely sure).

Then I would understand because the Android chargers might not be compatible with the iPhone charging port. Basically what I’m saying is that pretty much 99% of Apple users who already have an iPhone and are upgrading to the 12, do not need to buy a new charger separately.

@@manishholla You don’t need to use the cable which comes in the box. Usb C to lightning can be used to connect device to device like Mac to iPhone for example. Apple users could use their old cable/brick from let’s say the iPhone 6 for example and the iPhone 12 will charge. That’s why many people already have the means to charge the iPhone 12. Not many need to buy new charger.

See the gas from the battery won't catch on fire usually but when you cut through the magnets and battery, the spark created while the blade came in contact with the magnets ignited the gas fumes thats why other phones you tested didn't catch on fire but this did. Hope I got it right :)

The magnets are very visible at 10:44. of course they are small and they surround the wireless charger's coils. Also the tool you were using creates sparkles and heat when you cut through metal, so that's what brings fire.

The magnets were on the coil Look when you took the axe to the coil, they're quite small and wrap around the coil

depending on what your surgery was, you missed out on the opportunity to make a "what's inside me" video

Not only would the magnet break, but the resulting dust from the magnet is very flammable. Neodymium magnets should never be burned, as burning them will create toxic fumes.

The phone probably caught on fire due to the mixture of battery acid and sparks. The Dremel more than likely produce sparks which made contact with the battery acid, which resulted in the fire. Great Video and Love your education and entertaining content
